For the rest of your points, I'd say look at other comments I've made to people here explaining why I believe what I believe. @seanchan9657 the answer is yes. I'm revamping them slightly so I talk about each matchup a little bit more, but I've been keeping up with the casts as they've been going and making notes for future videos.

@mina319 now i did not see the asuras wrath manga, so i do have gaps in my knowledge there. But I don't think I'd scale chakravartin to multiversal. I don't think there's enough evidence, at least in my eyes, that chakravartin is the one who created the entire universe. He is stated to have created mantra and Gaia and seems much more like a part of the universe' ecosystem rather than its creator. I'll read the manga before the episode releases though, there could be some stuff I've missed.

​@@plimepf9493 Id lean that he did considering how easy and casual he was creating planets, stars, suns, solar systems and dimensions aswell as the underworld with naraka that he can seemingly recreate almost instantly in his fight and absorbing the milky way galaxy and others by just being there, is officially the embodiment of the wheel of life and I believe the japanese translation has it mean both world and universe but I might be wrong Either way though whether he actually created it or not does not mean he doesnt scale to multiversal just based on what we know and can see him do and say, his creator form no diffing Asura the destructor and he even able to manipulate the players qte so that it can benefit him and Asura matching then overpowering him in base within minutes after getting no diffed means Asura is multiversal in base by the end of the game and now imagine him going into the other forms

@ Also them fighting in an event Horizon where light, space and time can not escape and neither of them being effected by that at all and Chakravartin being able to manipulate it makes a stronger case for both having infinite speed than kratos imo

@mina319 the only reason I think people scaled asura to multiversal is because we thought that chalravartin was universal. If he isn't, I'm not sure if it's fair to scale them that high. The galaxy feats were how I scaled them to solar system level. With the event horizon, from what I researched at least, it is a pocket dimension that chakravartin creates where he has full control to reality warp. Where yes that's impressive, a pocket dimension is not a universe. I didn't see anything that would lead me to believe that Asura would have infinite speed. Also, the Naraka in the fight seemed to be more of an illusion than anything else. I appreciate it by the way that you seem cool to have a discussion. After another comment I got today, it's a breath of fresh air lol.

@@mina319 also, my Kratos arguments for speed would be him scaling to the valkyries and the fates, two beings that have pretty good arguments for infinite speed

@Kleebo yeah, the logic is such a weird part of the episode. But I do like both analysis and how they cover the characters as well as like you said, the animation is pretty good even though it doesn't live up to the last two battles animated by devilartemis. That's why, for me, I rated it just a little above average.

@ninjaduck99-ho7cu fighting game matchups seem to stick around the middle to least popular episodes of the seasons. It's such a shame

@xopath9204 he can keep up with Thor and the world serpent, whom the later could destroy the 9 realms, can contend, although not defeat Odin, who created the 9 realms. He can match Zeus's power, can hold off atlus, someone who is lifting up all of Olympus on his shoulders, and he is fast enough to fight both the fates and the valkyries, who can be argued to have infinite speed or incalculable speed.

@RicardoEnriquez-o4k for me, the conclusion doesn't really matter. All i care about is that their logic makes sense. There's always a lot of interpretation needed for most things vs. debating, so there can never be one true answer to who beats who, but there will always be ways to justify your decision.

@plimepf9493 Very true. While I had no stake or major knowledge of the matchup, that's one of the reasons I understood why they chose to have Omniman win over Bardock, even though most disagreed and attempted to point out it's flaws. That's why I appreciate Death Battle, besides the obvious side of having fun. You can at least, for the most part, see where they're coming from. Even if you think they're wrong, you can tell they try to put their all into it. And again, they get the point so many other debaters miss: actually having fun debating.

@RicardoEnriquez-o4k the debating, research and just thinking of ways the fights can go are the fun part. I've disagreed with episodes, omnidock included, but by no means would that mean i hated the episodes. I think they always try to put out their best work, even if sometimes it's a miss

@Arkham13v asura is powerful, but Kratos still far outclasses him. To my knowledge, Asura can't stack up in any single category, so I'm wondering how they will try to spin this in the episode

@@plimepf9493 It does make me wonder how strong are their original mythologies (Greek/Norse for Kratos and Hindu for Asura) and how much those games have adapted these powerful deities.

Yeah that's not a bad idea. Even if it was a shorter cast episode, I think making each matchup it's own video would be the most pleasing at the end of the day.

@@Keith_Norman in most cases, if Spiderman wasn't holding back, Kingpin doesn't stand a chance, which they did discuss on the cast. I think penguins arsenal overall would give him the win, but I will say that I haven't done a deep dive for this matchup.

@plimepf9493 oh no disagreement from me is Spider-Man wasn't holding back then yeah kingpin would be dead 10 times over but I feel like we're massively under selling that still fighting a Spider-Man that holds back and being close to his level is majorly impressive and there's also the fact that he's literally walked through Doom's beam's without even flinching

@Keith_Norman hmmmmm I'd really have to look into this matchup. It's hard to argue with that doom feat. They both have been around for so long that I'm sure there's something crazy feats just waiting to be discovered.

@@Keith_Norman mewtwo and shadow can both be argued to have similar speeds before super shadow, but Shadow should take the fight in both speed and power, while mewtwo takes hax. I think the matchup could go either way based on how you interpret mewtwos abilities

@plimepf9493 yeah if we're going by death battle standards but Shadow fought Solaris and even though they gave an a calculation on how fast is a text might have been it was wrong considering that he was attacking multiple timelines at once, Sonic ran through spaces that are literally infinite , and finally, Sonic can run so fast that it's literally stated that he's fixing space and time with just his speed alone which would put him at a measurable speeds.... Without his other transformations or super; something that Mewtwo has never dealt with and would never react to on time. We also have to factor in that TH-cam isn't really the strongest Pokemon in his own verse meanwhile Sonic and Shadow are literally almost on par with each other and are the two strongest beings in their verse

Yeah, i don't agree with how they scale Sonic characters generally in the show, but I do agree that Shadow would get the speed advantage. plus, in Shadow Generations, Shadow is fixing spacetime in a similar way that Sonic is, although it's harder to tell the extent because of Dooms influence in the story. I do think Shadow wins this because not only would Shadow be faster, but he would be exponentially stronger than mewtwo. But if Death battle scaled them at similar speeds, then I can see them arguing that mewtwo's more unpredictable abilities could land him a win. I don't think Mewtwo should scale Speedwise at all, but I have seen some people scale Zygarde to infinite speeds, so that's why I say it could be close depending on the stats you believe.

@STEVEJobs-l3o I'm pretty sure i say that in the video that his stats will come down to if you use in-game feats or lore feats. I just think they will use the lore feats knowing death battle.

Plus I was only referring to what they said in the episode, because they didn't talk about him caring about metal at all. In my review, I show the panel of Eggman being upset about metal getting damaged

@Lucasthegrea7 I think he literally read a wiki on Monokuma. It's the only reason I can think of in why he knew feats but didn't know context

​@@plimepf9493Went back to the cast, I think Liam was using calcs and abilities from the g1 blog. He looked like he was listing off each of monokuma's wincons and see if korosensei could actually counter it or not. I don't think Liam prepared much for this cast, dude just wanted to get people to see that this match up is much more debatable than people think.

@franklinbalani5245 that's entirely possible, I haven't read that blog, but it would make sense. do people not think it's a debatable matchup? Part of the reason I like it is because i think it can go either way depending on how things are interpreted

@@plimepf9493 Yes, majority of people in the G1, the discord and reddit think that Monokuma wins due to sheer versatility of monokuma units + having ftl to relativistic speeds exceeding Korosensei + Having much higher AP through Big Bang monokuma having a 2.3 for low end to 300 megaton as an ultra mega high end AP. In the cast Tyler gives arguments to why his arsenal wont work against korosensei and that Korosensei does have AP that reaches up to 50 megatons to much higher through an ultra high end(wasnt mentioned in the cast but apparently he said something about it in the champion cast). He also found a way to give Korosensei ftl to relativistic speed.

@Daniel12pixelRbMc it would have been cool to see a lot of fall guys gadgets that didn't make it into the episode, like the tablet that lets falls guys create objects and stages. But i still think the fight was Fun overall.

Yeah, i kind of realized some problems later. I amended the grade for this episode at the end of my Bowser Vs. Eggman review and elaborate more in my 2024 review.

@conmanay4563 That's where I ended up scaling him myself for those reasons. I saw statements putting Kratos higher, directly scaling him to Odin, but I didn't find it believable.

watching the battle, Odin beat them without much trouble. Once kratos got a solid hit in with the leviathan axe in his shoulder, he instantly shoved him off, and with a single blast knocked them down and bound them in place. The way he speaks to them afterwards makes it pretty clear how easy he was going on them. Freya is a powerhouse in her own right and they explicitly needed her to get out of the spell. It’s very clear all three of them were needed to beat Odin

People always say Realms are universes... they are not. In the way of fiction realms exist within the same universe...

I feel bad for putting omnidock in last place for the fights because I do really like it, I just like the other fights a tiny bit more. And I do mean a tiny bit, it was such a close race for me

I'm saying I don't know what quote you are referring to. I looked at both arguments when making my video, but couldn't find anything about him creating their universe. But I'm willing to admit I'm wrong if so

Dragonbourn Vs. Chosen Undead is the main reason I believe Kratos would get his higher lore scaling. I think it would be weird for them to apply that logic for that episode, but then not do that for this episode.

It would be cool to get a fight like that, where the combatants are more grounded. The fight would come down to fighting style and military equipment, which is very appealing to me.

Are you saying that because Bowser’s army hasn’t used the Mario items for a while he shouldn’t use them and it’s OK for Metal sonic to use a chaos emeralds

@CarlosGarcia91000 to answer the first question, it'd think it's really close, but I do think Eggman would take it. And second, no I'm not saying that. I think you should factor in how they fight in their games. I think they should have access to their powerups, but bowser has never just spammed giving his minions powerups. It's more so a response to the possibly billions of combinations that Sage wouldn't be able to predict.

@CarlosGarcia91000 well i mean it's kind of a lot of points. I do have a review of the episode up where I talk about my thoughts on the episode as a whole and debate people in the comments on some of their points. Essentially i think that eggman and Sage would be able to outsmart bowsers crew. Even if Bowsers minions did band together in groups, with sages and eggmans control of the units, she could create battle strategies quickly to take out the stronger forces. There hard boiled heavies can also lead forces as well, the Phantom ruby can create a massive army to trip up the forces for a huge advantage as well. But as for what the deciding factor for me generally was, it was sages intelligence and simulations. But that's simplifying my viewpoint alot. Not to say the episode is wrong because by what they presented, it is right. I just interpret some things differently

@@plimepf9493 ok that’s a good point but there’s a problem……………… Kamek and king boo are busted!!! Kamek can create a bigger bowers like he did in Mario party and boo can deseable technology so I don’t see how he can not deseable sage and even if you somehow manage to kill king boo. normal boos can merge in to another king boo and the phantom ruby could create multiple metal sonics but bowser Has double cherrys for that

I wasn't sure how people would like the way I formatted this video, but i wanted to make it a bit different than from what we see other death battle youtubers do. Plus, breaking things up into categories like this is how I get the numbers to grade the episodes in my reviews, so i figured it'd be a fun way to present things in a retrospective like this. I'm really glad you enjoyed it though!

@ByrgenworthGraduate that was honestly just to keep the fight seeming closer. They said before that they sometimes certain numbers or feats to keep the fight more fair after their conclusion has been reached.
