How to Install a Combi-cam lock on your RV
มุมมอง 1.8K4 ปีที่แล้ว
ISOAdventure.Life takes you through how to install a Combi-cam lock on a Rockwood Mini Lite 2511S. This one was a 2020 model, but when we found the size of 1 1/8", it was on a forum that said for 2018. This size seems very standard. This replaces the need for the industry standard CH751 key that nearly everyone with an RV has. This will increase the security of your rig as well as make it easie...

My family is strongest in the US Midwest, PA to IL, but centered around Cincinnati, OH/KY.
Clan mclean here
I too am part of the Maclean clan...will visit soon.
My bucket list, Duart castle. My family McClain, Tennessee, USA.
Does the bus take you right to the castle? We would be without car also.
It did for us, but it has been a while now, so check other sources as well. Thanks for watching and commenting. It would be fun to go back.
Wow very Beautiful ❤️❤️ new subscriberd 👉🎁🔔✅👋👋 👋❤❤❤
OK I'll bite - what are the circles/dots under the straight/left arrows painted on the road? I initially figured it was for the "do not enter" at the one-way access roads, but that's not true of all of them.
If I understand what you are asking, the white circle represents the roundabout to orient it in relation to the turn.
We are Macleans. John and Charles Maclean went to British Guiana in 1800s. Would love to know any descendants that also went to Trinidad. My great-grandfather was Charles Allan Maclean.
I would drive through 50 sequential roundabouts just to get to a Bucees.
Just got one of these by private sale, so no walk through. This helped a lot. Thank you.
The McCormacks of McClain😊
Distracting music
Stock the bar, iam on my way home.
Jefferson County Open Space maintains quite a lot of mountain parks with miles and miles of trails. If you like Colorado's State Parks, check out the county parks as well.
Great tips thanks
Wow that’s not a handy spot for the water tank shut off valves
My ancestors were from the Maclean clan, I'd love to see the castle someday!
I really enjoyed this video. My husband is a McClain from the US. I'll show him this video a little later.
Glad you enjoyed it. It was fun to experience.
Thanks for sharing! Great seeing all the fellow Clan Maclean here in the comments. I will be in Ireland in October and hoping to stop by the Castle during that trip. I hope they bring out the special guest book! 😁
Hello cousin MacLean! Very nice video (except I wish you would have panned slower on the dresses, lol). This also is my ancestral home! Oh how I would LOVE to go there, but my husband canny fly. (big sigh) so other people's videos will have to do. Scotland is such a Beautiful country, I wish we could move there! --We would go by ship. LOL
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. We really enjoyed the visit so much. It was overall a bit of logistics to get to country, to the island by ferry, to the castle before they closed and get back on the ferry. Still worth it, but not easy for visitors. We would love to go back knowing some of the logistics better now.
Was looking for info on location for water heater bypass valve. FOUND IT. Thanks
Great. Getting ready to turn it back on in a few weeks for the summer use.
Thank you for the video, we just purchased a 2022 flagstaff with the exact floor plan as yours, found your video to be very helpful.
Thank you. We hope to put out some more videos, probably the short kind, showing additional changes/mods we have done and like. Thanks for letting us know it helped.
Direct descendant of John McLean Isle of Skye
Nice!
Thanks for this! Also a direct decendendant.
Thanks for your comment. Great to hear.
what if the schwintek fails ? how do you close the bedroom slide ?
Have not had to figure that out yet. I think first step is check the fuse.
I’m a Maclean as well, and one day I’ll pay a visit to our ancestral home and honor those who came before us! hello fellow Maclean’s!!
That's great. I hope you enjoy it and share the experience. Thanks for the comment.
I'm a MacLean as well, but doubt I'll ever be able to go as my husband canny fly. It has something to do with his ears. I suppose we could go by ship, but that would make for a long trip, and he doesn't want to be away for very long as we would have to board our pets. (sigh) Oh well, but hello cousin MacLean!
I just fount out from Ancestry DNA that I'm a direct descendent of the Macleans!
@@kimberlyalvarado6605 Woo Hooo! That's AWESOME!!!!
Hi I’m a Maclean too
Theres alot of descendants kicking about, I too am one, well my mum and her parents were McLeans. Linda (mum), Sam (her dad who is the mclean) and Mary (my grandma, his wife who married into the name)
Awesome video thanks for sharing, sorry forgot to say
Thanks! It was fun to see it.
nice video. i'm an irish mclean, my parents are from belfast. but i'm still a mclean/maclean. i'd love to visit duart castle someday.
Nice. We thought it was a special place to visit. Hope you do get to.
We just ordered a Mini Lite 2507s
Nice!
Great 👍 Video. Wife and I are looking into Purchasing this RV.
Thanks. We enjoy ours. Hope to post more videos soon with our travels with the RWML.
Due to the sound issue, I was not able to determine what the long “stick-like” apparatus (relating to the slide ) was for. I am totally at a loss to figure that out and have never seen a reference to it before. Please explain. I love this trailer layout and build quality
I think you are talking about the metal stick that goes above the slide out. Basically the technician said they use it in transit from the factory and then most people never use it again. We have not.
I was going to ask who your videographer was then I saw the selfie stick shadow!
Awesome to see another great birding channel out there making great content! I love going to barr lake. Have you all ever been kayaking out there?
Thanks for the comments! We don't have Kayaks yet, but hope to get them soon.
No doubt! While traveling through Kansas in the 80s in our Pace Arrow, the wind ripped our awning off the side of the vehicle!
Wow, no fun in that.
Hoping to visit here soon! My great grandfather Thomas MacLean immigrated to northern Canada 140 years ago. Bruce MacLean was my grandfather. We have always cherished our heritage in Scotland! Thamk you for the great walk through!
Thank you. Hope you do get a chance to visit.
I'ma McLean 2 I traced my lineage back through ancestry.com my maiden name is Anderson
Nice!
oh wow!! im a maclean on my dads side (lane is his blood name) and an Anderson on my mum’s !!
Slide it to the exposed side and you should see two clips holding the door to the ceiling. Unclip them and the door should come out.
Thanks for the feedback. I think you were the first to offer a possible solution to that. Unfortunately that was also what the tech on the phone told me, but it was not built that way. When they fixed it back at the dealer (under warranty) they had to take the wood off that was up against the ceiling to access it and then put it back and caulk it to look like new again. Crazy it was built with that difficult of access. I'm hoping they stay now with the bedroom one fixed with longer screws and keeping the pipe insulation under them.
@@ISOAdventureLife So they didn’t fix it correctly. Many of these have a “cleat” that is about a 1/2” thick which drops the doors down. If the dealer took that off but didn’t replace it, it probably causes the door to be too high and makes the clips unaccessible. It didn’t look like it in the video.
We were here about 3 years ago and just love this place. The colors were just amazing. Thanks for sharing. Lynn and Danny
I'd like to go back now that the smoke is cleared out. Thanks for the feedback.
Hi friends. What a cool place to check out. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for the tip on avoiding the dirt roads. We have some videos you would enjoy. Come check them out when you get a chance.
Thanks! We'll take a look.
@@ISOAdventureLife You are awesome. Thank you so much!
Bought a 2021 Rockwood Mini Lite last summer. Really enjoy it. Ours is the model 2205.Smaller bathroom than you have, but ours came with outside griddle which we attach to side of camper and works off the propane bottles. Nice way to cook outside. Have fun.
Thanks for commenting. It's great to cook outside. I like they put a quick connect on the side for the grill.
Beautiful video! I have seen some what similar terrain in Cappadocia Turkey. Keep creating!
Thanks so much
There is also an internal cover for the outside 'above stove' vent exhaust that NO ONE tells you to open. If not open the fumes do not blow outside. Also, the AC unit has front and rear shutters that if opened bypass the 'vents' and blow directly into the 'living room' to quick cool.
Thanks!
I loved your video! I'm a direct descendant of the Clan MacLean. It is on my bucket list to visit Scotland, and now to sign that special book!
Thanks so much! Yes, it is a good bucket list item I think. It was so neat to find out about the book. Happy traveling!
@Deanna McLean I just fount out through the Ancestry DNA I'm a direct descendant of Ephraim. He is my 6th Great Grandfather.
Great video sir ... Does your rv have 2 dump valves for the gray tanks ?
Thanks so much. Yes, 2 gray tanks. I wish they went into one outlet, but they don't. There are 2 places you have to hook up to dump the tanks.
do you have use a Y connector for your sewer hose to hook up??? is there 2 gray tanks?
I don't yet have a Y hose connector. Yes, 2 gray tanks.
The section of the hike going up to Inspiration point looks intense! I would stay away from the edge for sure lol. It looked like it was much more packed on your way back down. We love a good long out and back hike when we have a day off. Nothing better than to get your mind off of things and spend the day in nature. I would definitely wait for the boats! 😍
I really enjoyed this one. It was a longer one for me for sure. I can't wait to do more trails in GTNP next year. Thanks!
I haven't been able to explore much of Colorado but I can't wait to!! That place is amazing! It looks like something you would see in Utah with all of the different orange and red tones in the rock formations. Star Trek or Star Wars definitely comes to mind for me as well! I love seeing places like that. 😍
Agree! It can be hot there and I've heard you don't want to go if it has been raining due to mud. I'd combine this place with some things in Colorado Springs since this location won't take up the full day.
Great video!! We just bought a 2021 version of the same unit. This video helped us finalize our decision to go with the Rockwood and confirmed some of the advantages we saw over other models we looked at.
That's great to hear. Thanks for letting us know. We watched videos for probably over a year trying to narrow down what we would want and what we could pull. We stayed in it over 60 nights this summer and worked really well. We did have the 300 model toilet so we had that issue (factory issue with smell) resolved at the end of the year. We were able to upgraded at a small cost to the 310 toilet.
Ephraim McLean is my Great X 6 Grandfather. 😁
Nice!
My husband says that same thing. You must be related
Ephriam was my sixth great grandfather as well. I’ve been to Mull on multiple occasions and signed the family guest book and meet the clan chief Lachlan. I wonder if you are the child of Robert Taylor McLean?
Question for you, do you have a actual loaded tongue weight number with your wdh properly adjusted? We like this unit especially with the closet slide. GVWR is under our specs ,but the 700lb empty tongue weight has me thinking due to our 800lb tongue weight capacity. I know the wdh will help with that, but how much?
Sorry, I really don't know. I've not done any of the weighing steps since it is not anywhere near my RAM 2500 limits. Not sure how to get the actual tongue weight. (CAT Scale?)
@@ISOAdventureLife That's okay. Yes a Cat Scale would be best.
