i never could get into DS9 but I loved all the series around it...... I guess I just dont like soap operas. But ill give this another try. I hate modern trek, but I loved Voy and Ent and Tos and Tng.

I know you recommend not starting off with DS9 as an introduction to star trek but I have had consistent issues with hooking my friends on star trek by starting them on TNG. Without fail, all of them stopped watching at ~season 1 - 3. However, those same friends (5 of them) all watched DS9 and completed it, then went on to watch SNW and a few other star trek series. It may be a generational thing but I have never been able to get any of my friends to finish TNG, even after getting them hooked on the universe.

All of these series are spinoffs created by other mangaka and just serves nothing but fanservice, you have the first series, which is the good one and it actually has a story, the second series is like the "less so" type but still offers great story and more impactful then the last one, and then there's the third one, which is just there to wet people's pants, that's literally what boruto is and dragonball has that is spades.

Honestly im seeing some WILD theories about Elbaph atm and i think people are setting themselves up to be dissapointed 😂 some of these theories iv seen are so far fetched and wild but people are so attached to them atm. In terms of the raid failing, i liked it until we turned up to Onigashima. At that point it was too long of an arc as is and it wouldnt make sense to drag it on again.

I think there's a flaw in your apathy section. The Gorosei may say they are apathetic, but the primary villain of the arc, Saturn, is driven by spite. Refer to chapter 1099, Bekori is deposed as king and Saturn doesn't seem to care, then he hears who the new king is and then decides to conduct a smear campaign. He holds a grudge against Kuma ever since he stood up to him at God Valley, and keeps going for lasering in on him for decades, it is the source of most of their failures at egghead. Also, Imu's vice was show before we could even see his silhouette , Lily. I think they're much more petty than we think.

I wasn't aware that Soul Eater went beyond the anime ending. I always thought the ending felt a little rushed but no that I know there's so much more to it I need to read the manga!

Another thing I like about Soul’s music issues is his hidden hypocrisy. He claims no one with an ear for music would like his, claims his brother is way better than him when it comes to music. Yet his brother likes his music. I like how Tsubaki is secretly a horny monster, it makes earlier scenes of her telling Black Star “if you’re going to peek at least try to mask your presence” seem more like the expert critiquing the newb With Kid I really like how he fights mosquito using brew something that can only be used by someone willing to “create a tempest” which in the arc is analogous for being willing to put chaos into the current order of the world.

Wait. That sounds like a total retcon. I'm anime only, so maybe it's different in the manga, but didn't Hades meet Zeref long before he became Hades? Zeref helps teach him, Yuri and Mavis magic. Zeref even later drops Mavis off at the Guild after she dies. The one who's there is Precht (Hades). Looking back, that just makes Hades plans when first introduced really wonk.
