Light Battery Box

The lights I use for my shop are on tripods so I can move them around. but they run on USB power cords to plug into the wall. So I designed a box to hold a battery to make the the whole thing cordless now I can move them around wherever I want. clearly I wasn't thinking far enough ahead about how to attach it to the tripod so I just taped it in place so I can start using it right away Support t...

This is why I would strongly recommend to RTFM... " Read the freaking manual." In computers, we would call a Super User someone who actually read the manual for the app or system cover to cover. A rarity. 😊
thanks man, very informative
Don't pin that bass on us I'm from the East Coast we don't call a hot dog glizzy I never heard of them to you you said it today you might think of more West like California
well....this is indeed impressive...
Perfect

You deserve my like, sir. Here ya go
I would have never imagined wood glue was that freakin strong
Man, this video perfectly answering my question 7 years later. Awesome.
Wood glue is stronger than cheap pine.
I’m just learning about wood working and starting out doing some simple projects. I’m still in disbelief how strong glue is lol for wood. I just couldn’t understand the concept of glue being that strong!
The gun cost $350 on ebay 😝
Do you have a link for the file used for this game?
Have u compared their inches? How long is a true inch?
I'm searching this because my mom's kitchen door hinges broke and I (with little D.I.Y knowledge) said I would hang it back up. It is the weight of a fire door so it's heavy. So I got new hinges and better screws but also got some wood glue to put in the predrilled holes, just to have a firmer hold. Was this a good idea or not? I'm asking a genuine question, because my mom did nothing but moan at me the whole time I was fixing it, just because of the wood glue.
Wood glue is really only good for wood. Sounds to me like super glue of epoxy would work better in your case for glueing hinges
Hi Thanks for the words of wisdom. Maybe I wasn't 100% clear, I just wanted the glue so it would fill any space between the screws and the new drilled holes. So if it's fine for that then (hopefully) it's all good? I have since hung the door and it seems to be holding perfectly fine at the moment, so now it's on to replacing the front door lock and handle which will include many moans from the old dear and I should be done? But thank you for the reply and advice, which is something I will definitely keep in mind if I ever have to build her a "carehome"... lol. Seriously thank you.
Do you think I could spray stain on a shed?
Hell ya, I'll check it out!
I was looking for this exact information. Had to sift through multiple videos comparing different glues, advertisements and nonsense when I searched how strong is a wood glue joint….. thank you sir.
thats pretty sweet man
I love the burned word look
pretty cool man!
great......I'll be thinking about this all night
holy shit thats funny!
you ain't lying
mmmmm.......tacos
size matters
thanks for the education lol
I know its amazing how many people don't know this. I tell people this and they look at me with...well i don't know about that! or no i don't think so. I once glued a draw together on a wood bench and just a few drops of glue got on to the bench between the draw and the bench and when i tried to take the draw off the bench i literally destroyed the draw and had to build a new one thats was about 10 years ago. That bottom piece of the draw is still stuck to that bench to this very day its like welded on there. The reason is because the wood has natural fibers going thru it were as the glue is solid so when it dries its like trying to split steel in half. I made a 15ft work bench entirely put together with glue 5 years ago and its still holding up great with about 500lbs of tools on top of it.
this is correct!! rizz is short for charisma
Appearently boards and doorways measure the same at Peculiar Sawdust! 😂
Pretty much. Lol
@@peculiarsawdust1876 It’s gotta be the tape measure.
Question if you OD on drugs you can die but it's an od'ing on sleep technically the same thing as being dead
I mean you are not wrong. Never tried.
My so called' MENSA' smart brother used to hammer his down to make them not move. Mr.Genius was also never able to grasp that the first strapping or stud or joist was not 16 on centre but half the width less until second one as the sheathing needs no overlap on the first run.He could never understand that . book smart and math smart does not always mean carpentry smart at all.

I’m 37 and been saying “bet” since I was a little kid. I’ve always used it as a way of saying “ok”
I was wondering if i can use this paint with my critter gun?? I bought some red rust-oleum oil based paint to spray paint 2 large metal cabinets. The guy gave me TSL throat seal liquid to clean it after. Did I get everything I need for this project??
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
That's a good saw. I've got one just like that (I think). Had it for over 25 years, even been in a few floods.
I’ve had it a few years. Got it used. Sanded off the rust, rebuilt the motor, new electrical, hood to go
You know, I will like it.
Ots aleve for me, and he's absolutely correct
I can’t…. I am stuck on Post….
You sold me, I’m on board!
It's difficult to drill a hole unless you turn on the drill press first, just saying
Setting the depth first but good call

Things I asked myself, when I was mid cleaning my vacuum cleaner lol 😂
I need to paint a nbf 35" five drawer file cabinet. Right now it's blue but I want to paint it red. I was cleaning my shed and found this spray gun. Should I just use home depot spray cans or should I purchase a compressor and use my jar sprayer? Also to clean it I just run thinner after?
To clean mine I just wipe it down with paper towels and run a pipe. Leaner threw the tube. And you might be better off just using spray paint if it’s just the one project
@@peculiarsawdust1876 thank u
Same question on every single review ????
@Michael Aver I already went to buy oil based red paint to use with my critter and this guy at lowes gave tsl to clean critter gun after. I asked him if I need it to thin paint and he said no??
I am currently building an instrument. It's my first real time building something from scrap. I was constantly worried about how strong the woodglue actually is. After glueing one piece together, I had to cut it a bit and cut of a long strip. About 26'' long and maybe 0.002'' wide. Two pieces of wood barely held together by the glue, because there were quite a few of gaps inbetween. But even though it was this tiny little gluejoint, with definitely not enough glue, I could not for the life of me pull those two pieces apart by hand.
Just makes you a RAILROADER‼️👍🤣😂🤣
I never quit on the railroad, the railroad quit on me
