The Secret Case of the Transgender Baronet - Craigievar Castle Scotland
When the 19th Lord Sempill and owner of Craigievar Castle in Svotland died in 1965, he was survived by three female childreh There were two parts of the title and estates that stood to be inherited. The Barony couldbe passed to either a male orafemalestle heir and thus passed to Lord Sempill's eldest daughter. The baronetcy, however, which included the bulk of the estate's land, could only be passed to a male heir. Ewan was one of Lord Sempill's siblings and a trans man.
Ewan's cousin John contested the baronetcy passing to Ewan on the grounds that he did not believe the re-registration of his birth was valid and that his cousin Ewan was still legally a woman. The case was taken to the Court of Session, in secret.

Evelyn began her career in opera. She has performed with some of the opera industry’s leading conductors and singers including: Placido Domingo, Valery Gergiev, Kent Nagano, Eva Marton, Vladimir Chernov, Goesta Winburg, and others.
She has had the privilege of working with such famed directors as Oscar winner Maximilian Schell, Julie Taymor, Gian-Carlo Del Monaco, and Lotfi Mansuri during her tenure with Los Angeles Opera. Ms. Edwards made her professional singing debut at the age of 13, operatic debut at 19, and national television commercial debut at six months.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master’s degree from UCLA and a Professional Studies Diploma from Mannes College of Music. She and her husband Chris love exploring the world and sharing their passion and love of history, castles, and photography together.

King John, for all his faults, inherited a country that was virtually bankrupt. He lost most of his French possessions because he didn't have the funds to fight the King of France. The loss of the Crown jewels was the fault of inept advisors.
@philipdurling1964 all true…as was his equally inept ability being a military leader. Lots of bad strategic decisions… I don’t personally think m it was his advisors fault that the Crown Jewels were lost, but there are a lot of aspects of King John historians like to argue about. 💚

My Grandpa had him as an elder in one of his parish. Just been talking to my Ma about it all.
Did he? Amazing! I had one of Ewan’s relatives reach out. Everything I’ve heard about him has been that he was incredibly kind and warm.

I get people complain every directions about pronunciations I say on my videos as there are also different dialects within Scotland that pronounce places differently depending on where you live!
