@@bird7781 in this particular scenario, saitama didn't 'REALLY' go all out in the entire battle even tho he put in some effort. meanwhile no mortal is without limits. Plus, Goku is not in any way inferior to Saitama. With the right conditions, the battle can go Goku's way.

@Mythsandmythologies no problem as it really is a great storytelling voice! But the power ups for Dragon Ball Z kind of surpass he-man. As far as power-ups, more than likely he would not have had to go past Super Saiyan ascended and at the very maximum Super Saiyan 2 and that's pushing it. So to have to go all the way to ultra instinct which is essentially universe shattering, that's kind of throws me off.

Darkseid had been reborn in the body of the son of Mazahs (an alternate evil Shazam) who could steal energy powers, and had already stolen powers from heroes. Zeus' lightning easily fed him. During Justice League Darkseid War, he's attacked and nearly killed by the creatures that can drain life force from gods, removing the magical Mazahs powers.

@@Mythsandmythologies Again, probably depends on which version of Hercules is meant. But probably Darkseid any way you look at it with either the classical version or the Marvel version, who imo is nothing but a muscular, egotistical dolt. The DC version was more likable (at least in the 1970s), but heck he'd have probably lost as well. My original comment was just to point out I was uncertain which version of Hercules is being cited here; which I thought at the time might make a difference on the outcome. But on further thought, nah! Darkseid *would* clobber them all. :) Kratos otoh... now there Darkseid would have his butt handed to him!

@@jasontoddman7265 I really do not think the battle will always go Darkseid's way all the time, If Hercules taps into his godhood, he might be able to hold his own a specially the marvel version. He can summon thunder and tap into his Olympian strength. A few reason why he might be able to win against darkseid

@@Mythsandmythologies Could be. But like I said, the outcome is likely to be affected by a character's popularity as much as for any other reason. That and who writes the story. That's the real problem with comparing comic book fictional characters from different media and genres. Goku and Superman for example are going to be endlessly duking it out until one character's popularity outlives the other's, regardless of any other traits each one actually has in-universe. That's the way it always is. :)
