This must be the classic version of Hercules rather than either the DC or Marvel version; either of whom I think would have made a better fight of it. Especially Marvel's, who even faced down Galactus once.

But probably Darkseid any way you look at it with either the classical version or the Marvel version, who imo is nothing but a muscular, egotistical dolt. The DC version was more likable (at least in the 1970s), but heck he'd have probably lost as well. My original comment was just to point out I was uncertain which version of Hercules is being cited here; which I thought at the time might make a difference on the outcome. But on further thought, nah! Darkseid *would* clobber them all. :) Kratos otoh... now there Darkseid would have his butt handed to him!
@@jasontoddman7265 I really do not think the battle will always go Darkseid's way all the time, If Hercules taps into his godhood, he might be able to hold his own a specially the marvel version. He can summon thunder and tap into his Olympian strength. A few reason why he might be able to win against darkseid
@@Mythsandmythologies Could be. But like I said, the outcome is likely to be affected by a character's popularity as much as for any other reason. That and who writes the story. That's the real problem with comparing comic book fictional characters from different media and genres. Goku and Superman for example are going to be endlessly duking it out until one character's popularity outlives the other's, regardless of any other traits each one actually has in-universe. That's the way it always is. :)
