Can someone, anyone, make a short and sweet video? Anybody?
This is so mean. He took his time to create a video to help people. You make it then.
Today. I received a offer from home depot regarding this job opportunity. I am watching your video. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences.
Do they drug test?
I did not get drug tested.
Thanks, I just got hired for the Job
I know this video is two years old but I feel it’s still relevant. I just got hired for this job and you answered a lot of questions for me that I no longer need to ask in the store during training. Thank you for making this content and for having a positive attitude and encouraging others. You’re a good TH-camr.
I also just started this position and this video helped me a lot.
You are awesome for this Sir!
How old you have to be for this job I'm 17
You should be good to work at 17 👍🏻
I’m a small female only 5’2 and I got this job I’m nervous
How'd it go? I'm a similar size, they want to interview for this and I'm not sure?
yeah same im so nervous
@@ItsMiracleeedid you do it? if so how is it?
@@prodigalsondibo I already had three jobs after that, homedepot sucks

You described the job very well, im two months in now. My store is super short staffed on delivery associates so the job is very demanding. I imagine if we had more employees the job would be way more enjoyable
Is this job seasonal?
Not a good company to work for
What would my daily hours be like as a part time worker?
So I sent my application and got an email saying I’ve been picked to move to the next step and I had to click a link to answer a few questions. After I did it said it was reviewing. Then later I got an email saying they reviewed my info and would like to offer me the job and it had a link and said to click it to accept the job but when I clicked on it and put my last name and zip code, it said the same thing as the last email saying they are reviewing it so it was the same link. What should I do?
Yo bro same thing with me and I was thinking on calling and letting them know ?
Did you figure it out or get any info about it ?
@@IsthtNoel the link ended up working but said they didn’t need anyone in that position and they did end up sending another email and I answered the questions then it said that they didn’t need me or sum so I gave up

Good clip brother! I'm getting ready to apply there. You said you worked 9 to 6, so you got an hour lunch? and is lunch paid or do you have to clock out and in? And I know you can't say what store you were in but can you say what state you were in? Thanks and good luck to you as well.
Yeah I had an hour of unpaid lunch. You have the option of picking a 30min or 1hr lunch. I was working in NJ! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
how much were u paid im in nj also@@anthonymurphy8458
Does this job have anything to do with cashier or anything to do with register
no, not order fullfillment.
I’m a deliveries associate and i can surely say that some people order half the store in one bopis. Usually in when we have deliveries/will calls, they are bigger items such as 200 sheets of drywall/lumber which is very time consuming. At my location, we are expected to load as well which makes our department the hardest in my opinion. You’re constantly on you’re feet. The good part is, that you learn a lot about the products as well. You also get to realize the stupidity of some people.
Hey thank you for this video, I was wondering what could they ask you in your second interview ?
seems a different experience depending on location, my experience was absolutely horrible, bullies on staff; management had to be complacent of it as there was many complaints, safety gets thrown out the window when ever a supervisor or manager felt like it, if you stand up for yourself you will not be working there much longer
I applied around ten times and I haven’t get hired , wich type of ritual do you do with that blue blanket hanged on the wall , is that Scientology , what’s the trick
Just got the job today! Really looking forward to it! Thank you so much for the info!!!
how was it lol hard?

@@FL_Dolfo on the website what is the position called
Hey! I see this comment is a year old. Did you like it? Are you still there? I got called in to be and associate for the position. Do you think it's good for a small women to do??
i remember having to pick 2,000 pickets 😂
BOSS orders, DELIVERY, and WILL CALLS here were insane
That's just 7 bundles of pickets use the SDFL.
Dude, 11 an hour is way to low!!!
I start today doing night shifts in the freight department working 8hrs and a lil nervous
Oh and getting payed 17 an hour which ain’t bad I hope you think and plus when I got my interview they didn’t even ask me questions they hired me on the spot and had me going to work a week after which today I’m starting my first day I hope it goes well
There’s nothing to be nervous about! It won’t take long for you get the swing of things and get to know everybody. Plus, you and the team have the whole store to yourselves for the night shift so it’s a lot more lax.
I’m starting tomorrow and I don’t really know where the delivery department is, where is it exactly? Or what happens when I start?
There’s no specific location for the delivery department, you kind of work all over the store. On my first day I just checked in with my manager and she linked me up with a staff member that trained me for the day. Otherwise, I would go in, get a phone, and get to work.
Man I’m a delivery associate and my shit is 3-12 and no one is there with me past 6. So 6 six hours getting orders from receiving, from the back aisles, bopis and delivery’s. It’s tough but you kinda have to get them done cause people depend on you to get them done. I wouldn’t say it’s pressure. But it gets you anxious to get stuff done. I would say the things I like most was you have “more” freedom to move around than a specific department. You can go outside walk around etc. having a good team with you that you can get stuff done and fuck around at the same thing is amazing. My store specifically has a lot of people that have the same mindset and all the dark jokes. The things I hate most though is how if you don’t get stuff done or someone from the shift prior didn’t do anything and then you are loaded having to carry and then get held accountable cause your by yourself for 6 hours trying to get everything done does start to make you not want to work cause it’s just unfair. I have 5 people on my team 3 full time 2 part time.
do u get paid more for else fk that
@@doomslayerforever2858 no, Since i posted this i am now 7-4. But on top of orders i also do lumber recovery. Making 17 instead of the 15.50 i was making before(i didnt get 1.50 for changing, its just from yearly raises. But back to it, ontop of doing 2 jobs i get 17, overnight freight gets $19. My overnight manager says i can get at least $20 for doing just lumber recovery alone ontop of doing my job(which is slow since its winter). I just never see my store manager to ask.
Do I have to know how to drive a pit? Because I honestly don’t and don’t wanna drive pits
It’s not a requirement but I would strongly recommend getting the licenses if you plan on working there longer term. It just becomes a big inconvenience when the store is busy and you have to find and wait for an employee with a license to grab something you need to complete an order.
Do you remember what questions they asked you
They asked questions along the likes of “what’s your greatest strength,” “when was a time that you stood up for what was right,” etc. I forget the exact questions but it was 4-6 questions about myself pretty much
11 an hour what??!! There paying me 15 an hour in texas.
Yeah it definitely wasn’t ideal. I’m sure they’ve increased the pay since I’ve left though to compete with everyone else in the area.
Any tips for a new employee? I start training soon and the whole scene is very unfamiliar to me. The whole anti-union thing freaks me out even though I have no bad experiences, even if the employees and managers are nice admittedly, no union feels like a red flag.
I’d say just go in with an open mind and don’t be afraid to ask other employees for help! It may be a little bumpy when you’re first getting into things but I can guarantee you’ll have the job down within the first week or two.
@@anthonymurphy8458 Thanks for the help. I'll be sure to talk to my trainer today, lol you caught me juuuuuust before I had to go to work.
I’ll be honest, I’m very anti-union for myself. And maybe it is because I have been approached by very strong sales tactics from union reps. I worked at Kroger. It is unionized but they try to strong arm you into joining them. I said no but they kept giving me worst case scenario and telling me it’s almost mandatory. Felt like I was talking to a detective. I still said no but the union rep wouldn’t let up. I’ll take my chances on a part time job. No reason to give my hard earned money to a union. I need my money.
Thanks !
Thank you for sharing your experience....
Today's my second day in OFA and im kinda nervous because I don't really know where items are but at the same time my team is pretty helpful, I just hate strapping down orders for delivery
Yeah it took me a couple weeks to get a good idea of where most things are in the store. That just comes are you pick more and more orders. And yeah, wrapping and strapping orders for delivery was one of my least favorite parts of the job 😂
I’m starting tomorrow, where exactly is the delivery department? Was never told where I’ll be working
How many hours do a full time employee work at Home Depot?
40 hours
i work fulfillment at lowe’s, and it is crazy how much in common that lowe’s and home depot have with each other. almost everything is the exact same.
😂 same grind, different aprons
fr but damn the work we do as associates is crazy
what area is it under?? cause i’ve been trying to apply and i cannot find it!
Store support.
I feel that a lack of a union is a good thing!
good and bad, unionized companies take a chunk out of your pay for union dues, but it's harder for management to fire you.
Where did you work? Like the state
New Jersey
i don't see this job online... all over tiktok, it says apply for store support, the only thing I'm afraid of is the interview and asking them if I can only do ofa (Order Fulfillment Associate). so what should I do Anthony Murphy?
I originally applied for a different position and when I went in for the interview, they told me it was actually for the order fulfillment position (Kind of weird). But maybe you could call your local store and see if they have a specific opening for OFA if you don’t see it online. Also, there’s no need to be worried about the interview. It was super lax and they just ask a few simple questions about yourself. The staff at my store were all so nice.
@@anthonymurphy8458 i tried calling my local store and it kept saying that the operator is not available and it hangs up.

Deliveries is lowhand the best job in the store. I used to be lumber and I quit because of shortstaff, overwork, costumers, etc and they call me back and offered me deliveries, havent left since.
11 bucks an hr is rough
Ayo, when you was working this position, did you just drop off the order to another department or did you have to talk and be in charge of giving it to the customer? Id like to stay to myself and not talk as much as for my anxiety.
There were a few racks in a specific aisle where I would stage the order so more often than not, I wasn’t interacting with the customer. If the store was busy I did have to grab the orders and bring it to the customer but that only happened every now and then.
how were weekends for part time?
I worked full time and had off on Sunday but Saturdays were the busiest day. It made the day go by faster though
