First you need to teach the dog to properly latch on, he is biting with his canines and it's not a full and deep bite. Also, in my opinion, best to teach them to stay away from the face, unless you want a guy that's going to be dead or deformed for life.

They say gameness is the first trait to go when you stop selectively breeding for it, and it is the hardest to recover when lost. This doggo is a really bad/good example of bad breeding. I've seen Southern Black Mouth curs and Catahoulas catch better and with more gameness than many of these Dogos.

Hog can tell you if the dog is game, depends on the hog and situation but ive seen some pretty intense battles with large hogs with big tusks, its not the same as another dog but it will give you the info you need to know if the dog is breeding worthy.

They reason with the corso is because it was a type of dog more so than a breed as we call it today, yes the abruzzese dog was used and years & years ago Roman times the the traditional old southern white bulldog rare dog also in USA called the American bulldog which had to any variations from crosses however that was the traditional old type British bulldog developed in England just like the mistake the pitbull terrier was also developed in England not USA , the Roman crossed them as it was only documented dog old type bulldog not the British bulldog of today that would get out of breath walking to it’s food bowl could compete with the Roman war dogs of that time when Romans left England try took some of these dogs with them to mate with there own , when the breed supposedly was extient similar type dogs were found in rural Italy and tried to revive the breed including where the boxer came into leaving purists to walk away from breeding programs to soften the dogs up , even the first dogs came to USA with Mike were crossed with rotti hence why they had the size and was passed off as pure shame we’ve lost many true working dogs over the years Good video tho 👍

Red Star Kennel in Hudson, WI. USA bred some of the best working presas back in the early 2000's. They no longer breed them. There are some older videos of the dogs working obedience around. They had some titled protection dogs that were impressive.
