The Germans make the best dog breeds, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Boxers, Weimaraner, German Pointer, Pincher, Great Dane, German Schnauzer, Leonberger, Poodle and many more. To me no other country does a better job of offering the best dog breed for every type ✌🏽🇺🇲

Old shit, but a response for you all. First Felix is either an outright liar or the unnamed person in CA where Felix claims had sold me American Bulldogs is the liar! Believe what you want, I never crossed another breed into my original dogs from the 89’s. As to those who think they look mixed bred, you obviously don’t know anything about varied genetic types. As to size and the idiots who perceive themselves experts on genetics, one can line breed or outcross for any genetic trait one desires. Be it color, temperament, size, or even extra legs if one desired. Never in my life did I only breed to 100 pound dogs. I’ve had 70 pound stud dogs and 62 lb bitches. Ignorance and disrespect run rampant in many of you. So after hundreds of puppies distributed around the world it seems the only negative comments are from those who never owned one of my dogs. I’m grateful to all those who gave my dogs great homes which was my biggest concern and I screened all would be buyers. I’m 78 now (2024) my last dog is a retired 114 pound (house weight) stud Moby Dick. He’s fifteen and will be gone soon I fear. I’ll miss having new puppies but happy to be away from the morons who never studied any form of genetics, yet are quick to show their ignorance! Ken Buzzell

Ok, I’m going to take the other side of this argument. Back in the day tails were docked due to working conditions, injury’s caused big issues back then. Today’s most rotties are house pets, very few dogs are still used for working. There really is no reason outside from competition in Germany. The American akc allows both. By doc. Tails aren’t you now removing a natural tail that they use for communication with other dogs, also don’t you take away the tails help as a Rutter to swim & there’s many more reasons. Now a days it’s really has come to owner preference but I’m starting to take the side that if there’s no medical reason to do it , then why ? Your altering the dogs natural looks & needs. Therefore altering the breed. Would you take a persons arm just because you don’t like the way it looks on him ? Then why do it to an animal that has no choice. … I love rotties, always have & have had a few of them tails always docked…but I’m starting to see it different. Rotties with tails are balanced beautiful looking dogs , think the tail balances their big head look with the rest of their full bodies. My small simple opinion, Thats all.

I've had cane corso's for years and I avoid all other cane corso owners/ people who think they know about them like the plague because every single one believes they are the manager of cane corsos and either belittles and ridicules everything everyone else does or says about them...(which is fine because they all do it to eachother) or spends hours making content or bashing every picture every other owners posts of their dog telling them its not a "real" cane corso. It's extremely bizarre.. I didn't realize it until the last few years but it's like people over the last 4 years have realized these dogs exist, got one and became the president of the fan club.. and nobody else has one or knows anything about them except that person who just realized they exist a few years ago 😂... It's soooo weird. I was actually planning to start breeding but I thought about it and decided against it because I didn't want to contribute in creating more cane corso Karen's lol. I don't know if its because it was an unpopular breed until a few years ago and everyone wants to pretend like they have always had them or something, or if this breed just attracts a special kind of person but aside from TH-cam, go to any Facebook group, any dog groups, any fourms and you will see every cane corso owner bashing and trying to one up eachother lol

I was a kid in the late 70s and early 80s I ran with an older guy (in Texas hill country), of whom was in the “game dog” sport very heavily. He had a lot of old blood on his yard: Mayfield, Tudor and others that I can’t recall at the moment. While he recognized and claimed red nose game dogs were very often early starters and very game, I don’t recall him having any but a couple of pied red dogs on his yard. With respect to larger vs smaller game dogs, I was told the smaller dogs were easier to handle in the ring, and most of the red nose dogs or (actually game dogs period) that I saw were smaller often time under 55lbs. “Liked” & “subscribed” thanks!

The most defining characteristic of an OFRN dog is the behaviour around the family . Exremely laid back , obedient and respecful around thd familty but unmatched tenacity , drive and agility when put to work. They can be socialized to get along with all animals but have a deep unbridled raw hatred for cats . OFRNs on chain weight or pet weight look like XL american bullies because of the big bones and one feature that really distinguishes them from other pitbulls is the super strength in their Jaws compared to other pitbulls

He has it backwards though, the American Bulldog comes from the American Pit Bull Terrier. The Pit Bull came first then the American Bulldog came. The pit bull is the closest thing in the dog world today that is closest related and functionally closest to the original bulldog. The old pit bull dog men called their dogs bulldogs and it is not by coincidence.
