I went in 2003 after coming home from a 7 month deployment for Iraqi Freedom! It was a lot of fun especially at Quarks Bar drinking warp core breeches with some NYC firefighters even got in a faux argument with a Klingon over who were better warriors humans or Klingons! Those Warp Core drinks were awesome I was so happy when I went thru the ride part I don’t remember most of it! 😆!

the guys could be there for Bam to help pull him together after Dunn died. i mean, i don't know much of the facts, i heard he had a child recently and so i hope things are good for him, but i felt so sorry for him that he'd spent such a long time trapped in a spiral of depression which led him to alcoholism (with the unfortunate consequence of him getting booted off Jackass Forever)... but i digress. what i mean is, i know how close Bam and Dunn were, but there were still these guys, right? Jess, Dico, Raab, Rake... i'm pretty sure they would be fundamental to get Bam back on his feet sooner. and i don't doubt they might've tried, but like i said, i don't know the circumstances, so i can't say just how much they did, and so i can't say they could've done more for him.

I used to this version constantly, I even remember being 13 and being the only person on the ride one evening. I hate 3D and don’t really like the new version, so I haven’t been on star tours since the change save for one time to try it out

the one guy yelling was bad acting his yelling was kind of ruining it for me lol i just love how the crowd all stand there laughing smiling when the one star fleet officer gets pupped up by a borg real fast as she screams lmao

Hard to believe it was only 5 minutes. Probably the best simulation ride ever. The new Star Tours isn’t as thrilling. I think it try’s to hard and is a little bit overkill. However I liked the idea of different planets when it was introduced.

I remember being there back in 2003. It was pretty cool. A Ferengi offered me 1000 bars of gold pressed latinum for my girlfriend and a Klingon growled at me. I swore at him in Klingon and asked him if he was prepared to go to Suto'vo'qor (StovoKor).

in retrospect the plot of this ride is like starting out on a bus tour of london, taking a wrong turn out of the bus station, and somehow accidently joining the fight to sink the bismark

No offense, but this ride didn’t come out in 1987. It opened up for the very first time in 2011 and just recently got shut down in the last few years but no I live in Florida. I’ve been to universal multiple times. This ride did not open up for the first time until 2011.😂😂😂😂

I first rode this back in 2002 and enjoyed it a lot. I'm 30 and grew up on the prequels and was stoked when they added stuff from those movies. However, I'm not super fond of the material from the new trilogy, it just doesn't captivate in the way the prequels did, nevermind the original trilogy.

This still looks awesome, even 37 (!) years later. I remember the first time I went on this ride with my dad. Amazing experience and it got me hooked into Star Wars ever since. Great upload!

Blast from the past thanks for this! I went on this ride in summer of 87, I was 16. I actually finished the ride and got right back in line, 2 hour wait not withstanding. Awesome

I rode this ride everytime i went as a kid. Same for Back to the Future @ Universal

This was a lot of fun. A must do every time I was in Vegas visiting my money.

Fun fact: this was back before changes were made to the OT home media replacing all written English with the made-up 'Basic' language of the storied universe. So we see here signs and bay doors in English, which actually does feel a bit weird.
