I'm having trouble getting the zoom in and out to work on the logo and it seems it's because the "get transform" function isn't working. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks for the vid. In June 2024 your information is still absolutely relevant. After following each one of the instructions that Zoom provides, you continue being stuck at 640 x 360... until you contact the company and ask for the activation of group HD feature ON THE BACK-END OF YOUR ACCOUNT. They answer in 24 h, and problem solved. Without the information you provede I would be absolutely unable to find a solution.

My Zoom recordings have a bit of a lag, especially when I use screen sharing and open my presentation? Will recording it with OBS make that better?

Have a question about adding background audio during zoom meetings. Use case- If I am conducting a zoom session, and I wish to play a small peice of audio(without sharing screen/computer audio), how do I do it using stream deck plus or atem mini pro? Audios like clapping, cheer etc. it will help to create a better experience for the audience in the real time.

Does it work without the stream deck?

This doesn’t work so well in a meeting, as most people use the gallery view, so even if you’re sharing your slides in the manner you recommend, there’s a good chance that people will struggle to read it. Sharing a screen still allows you to pop out a view of the participant cameras so that YOU can see them, but taking your approach to the next step, you can share your screen at maximum quality, but add yourself onto the screen share. It does require you to have a spare screen, but gives a better chance that people can see everything, whilst having the engagement that comes from the camera being present. We should still be switching the share off when necessary though…! 😉

I was inspired by this tutorial enough to buy all the accessories described. I've followed the directions for OBS on my Windows computer but when I get to the step of adding a Source using "Window Capture", I noticed that in the Properties of Preview, none of the options starting with "[OBS Studio] Windowed Projector" under the "Window" selector were available from the drop down menu. I can however see both of the Windowed projectors open and running on my display. There's just no way to choose them. Please help me Felipe! I'm so keen to get this working on Windows!! 😭😭

Great stuff, now I *need* a StreamDeck (-: you are not the only person posting howtos on running Zoom with OBS, but so far I have not found anyone giving advice on running the stuff I do, blended meetings, local people in the room (with data projector for powerpoint), plus Zoom attendees. For the local people there is a data projector (2nd monitor on my laptop) to see the powerpoints, sound and camera are a Logitec Group though sometimes I feed the PA mic into line-in as well) . Till yesterday I just used Zoom sharing and Voicemeeter to do it all, but on Wednesday I learnt OBS and Thursday I ran a blended presentation with OBS that worked pretty well except the Zoom recording came out at 640x360 >-: (start the recording while sharing the biggest screen you have to solve that) . The trigger for OBS was a rather messy presentation on Monday (international project launch, so, no pressure) that included VLC playing video (unusual for us) that was tricky to get audio to Zoom. OBS makes it much easier. Still learning though, binge watching all the howtos I can find.

I find that unfortunately this method makes the video quality participants get unusable. Some fonts (even big ones) are not readable, and everything looks super low res. People look ok, but any other element just looks terrible. I understand the camera feed prioritise high frame rate over resolution, but sadly there's not way to control that. We've tried all settings, and options both on Zoom and OBS, and been on forums and it seems to be a problem no one has been able to sort out. it's a shame as I love the flexibility. Have you found a way to fix that issue?
