    I heard a story that all the Butter factories scattered about the rural areas supplied the war effort and when the war was over the factories were no longer needed.

    Velo. I like your videos, and this one inspired me to buy a mountain bike for my daughter and ride the South Bernett Railtrail with her. We actually did the whole BVRT and KKRT a couple of years ago and my daughter did over 200km over 2 weeks. She was 8yo at the time. What other adventures have you done and are you going to make any more videos?

      Thanks for you kind feedback mate. Awesome to hear you are getting out there with your daughter. Miranda and I did NZ shortly after that video, that was amazing, there's some pics and details on my FB. Definitely looking forward to making some more videos one day, hoping to do the Mawson Trail in SA again and film it, that's an extraordinary trail. Cheers mate!

    Hey mate what panniers and rack are you using?

    • @VeloCetera

      Hi mate, that bike has a Topeak Explorer rack that served me well for nearly a decade. On my current bike I have a Tubus Logo rack. Panniers are ortlieb back roller classics. Cheers.

    hi. I'm looking for this kind of bike, TCX Espoir 24. I was wondering if you could fit a 26er wheel on it?

    • @VeloCetera
      @VeloCetera 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate, I just had a look, I don't think the 24" frame would fit a 26" wheel. I know there is a 26" version available, as well as a junior version of the Bombtrack Beyond these days.

      @@VeloCetera hi. thanks for the info! Do you remember her height in this video? I'm buying the 24" for my girl, she's 143cm in height.

    • @VeloCetera
      @VeloCetera 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@metherlence26 i can't recall exactly but my youngest daughter has just started riding it and she's 144cm. It's been an incredible little bike. We put a little Axiom rack and panniers on it and she rode across NZ in the dirt on it. I think there's some pics of that setup on the Velo Cetera facebook page at around April 2018. Cheers.

    If the floor isn't joined to the sides, how do you prevent creepy crawlies from sneaking inside the tent? Or in the event of a serious storm, how do you keep the wind/ drafts out?

    • @VeloCetera
      @VeloCetera 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate, the floor is joined to the sides by mesh, in the event of inclement weather the sides can be cinched down closer to the ground with tabs. I've had it in a few big storms and haven't had hassles with it. Single skin can get a bit cool at night in very cold weather though
