my friend your editing its sucks, its no a movie of advegers this kind of content... make more slow and explain with examples or better the things. its really hard watch videos like this. its not a tik tok youtube.

Dan Korneff was not David Bendeth’s assistant, they were business partners that shared the House of Loud studio. There were two other engineers that worked there as well at the time. They worked as a team, David was not in charge or anyone’s boss.

Love these videos, but I’d recommend throwing in examples of the techniques as well.

Black Box, Kraftur, Saturn, Neold Big Al, Inflator, MWaveShaperMB, Thermal, Dist Coldfire, Rift, Texture… so many options nowadays for saturation/distortion/waveshaping … honestly i can't see or hear Decapitator really stand out in that competition nowadays. Ten years ago maybe. Today? Not really. And not for that price.

I think it is overated that so much different plugins say they do so much different while under the hood they do the same, the emulation is often barely noticable, but certainly be noticable when you use dymanics processors e.g a the la2a. concerning the saturation plugins is not that different at all what they do.

Where does he place the Fairchild plug-in for saturation? On the whole mix?

I use the god particle on the Masterbus, I can create my own 2bus mix, then pop this on the master before finalising the track. For me, with Rock music, this is where it really shines. My master chain is stereo widening, eq, eq mid side, then the God particle set at 100%. Just adds that final finished sound. The limiter is very good. 🤘🏻
