We get a few JAL aircraft in per day @ LHR😊 the early aircraft tends to be their 787-8 Dreamliner, the mid-day their 777-300ER, and the evening aircraft they are using their A350-1000 XWB… all subject to change as time goes by of course! Thanks for watching mate👍🏼😎

Landings pass over the houses at Myrtle Avenue anywhere from 30ft to 150ft above them, depending on the aircraft and weight, it’s actually the takeoffs that pass over between 500 - 1,000ft👍🏼

@DannoAviation ain't no way as that would be a safety concern because houses are typically 30ft-50ft high. Not to mention, the airports elevation is at 83ft above sea level. Also, the low proximity warning would go off non-stop if they were that low over houses.

Not so much nowadays but there have been various reports of freakishly low landings @ Myrtle Avenue by planespotters and local folk over the last few decades, way lower than those we see usually. The planes don’t actually fly directly over the houses it just looks like they do, they pass over the horse-field that’s next to Myrtle Avenue. In any case, 150-250ft is the average altitude of the planes when they reach Myrtle Avenue.

@DannoAviation makes sense to a point but still those houses are about as close to the airport as Hamilton park spot I go to at DFK for 31L Departures. That low doesn't make sense considering how far away the touch down zones are. Remember the planes don't touch down at the Runway threshold they go like a few hundred feet down towards the solid markers next to the dashed ones and in front of the markers that look like pause symbols.
