Thank you for the tutorial. I have a new to me x5 that was poorly treated. Was basically left uncleaned with paint in it for about a year. Took it all apart, cleaned everything up and it seems to work but the pressure pump is not behaving as I think it should. I am testing with water only. It seems to prime fine now. When I spray, I have to raise the pressure and the pump will cycle, never run constantly. I’m thinking I didn’t assemble something correctly.

Glad I watched this video. Like many others, I was set to get the X7. Now I plan to get the Pro X19. Thank you very much! The money I'll save painting my entire 2,400 sq ft house inside and out as well as several out buildings will pay for this unit many times over.

I wanted to get one to start doing kitchen cabinets, trim and bathrooms. But after reading some of the comments I really want one now. I’m the type that will test the limits on tools. If I can use it to spray a couple houses then I can buy a bigger one and just use this one for cabinets and trim. I see them on facebook marketplace all the time for pretty cheap

What is the reason for taking the tip off to prime the line?

Trying to understand the max limit on these machines. I'm needing to spray 150m of fence (both sides in that figure). Want to do this project every other year. What do you recommend?

Hey Josh, I've just ordered this unit with a view to trim work. I've heard that the Dulux Aquanamel isn't real good to use with Airless sprayers, I want a gloss White, could you recommend something? - Probably going with a 2/10 tip Cheers Bud.

Is it OK to leave paint in the cup (in the quickshot) over night if doing the same job next day? Or do I need to clean it out every time after use?

I don't see why an X5 or X7 unit couldn't spray an acrylic epoxy or acrylic emulsion roof coating. Some of those products are only about 20-30% solids. Good quality latex is 35-40% "solids, per Google AI.

I actually purchased it I’m impressed how good it sprays and has two batteries about 3-4 hours of spraying on full charge for a fraction of cost

Believe it or not they hav a made in china kinda duplicate at 75% lesser price that performs as good as this I tried it absolutely no comparison

Mate I have a 4 month old cleanshot, used 5x. Now the swivel is intact but completely loose. a) any idea what caused the swivel seal (probably) to break? b) any idea on how to fix inside the swivel? Basically now the swivel+extension tip just droops towards the floor now instead of holding form in any direction like when it's working. For clarity there's nothing wrong with the actual valve or opener. It's just the threaded part of the swivel that connects to the neck is loose but intact. Almost like it's worn out, missing a seal. Very strange.

Great video. Glad I found it as I've just bought a Graco to spray a fence soon. One question, my sprayer came with a green 310 tip with a little metal thing and a yellow rubber washer in the pack. The guard on the gun though already had a metal thing in it and a black rubber washer. Should I swap them out for the ones that came with the tip? Thanks from UK

this is actually awesome for builders that paint their work. I got 7 dewalt batteries already, 3 of them 9ah, so I can run this thing basically for a week lol.

395PC with Fluctuating pressure with too big of a difference between high (set pressure) and low (to the point of getting fingers in the spray pattern. I clean the pump thoroughly after each project., except taking out the pick up tube and pump like you did. Any help is appreciated 👍🏼

Saved my day! Was able to find and fix the issue real fast with this. Didn’t have to leave my sprayer with Sherwin Williams for a month.

I was given a few thrown in on my second purchase from Ultimate tools in Burnaby. They shit kicked the old stain off of the fur beams. The awesome thing is they last longer than the Abranet Ace meshes somewhat, but fir my recent job, the sap didnt clog the Ultimax pads like the abranets. Was really gappy with them. I had 100 and 80 samples
