I love pottery.
I love throwing on the wheel and watching my ideas take shape.
I love trimming and refining the pots.
I love carving playful designs in the leather hard pieces.
I love finished pots fresh from the kiln.
And I love sharing my love of pottery.

Hi! Did you glaze the interior as well?
@@SusanG917 yes, I poured dipping glaze in, coated the inside and poured the excess back out.
Ah cool thanks! I’m new to clay and am going to try this!
@@SusanG917 good, it's a fun project 🙂
Great skills
Thank you, I have a lot of fun with it 😁
@potterybymollika keep enjoying it
Very nice. As the English say… ‘lots of fiddly bits to this’ :)
@@PaulByrne-ev2zm pottery has lots of fiddly bits, but it's fun too 😁
Happy New Year, Mollica❣️
@@kkirsch3583 thanks, happy new year to you too!
Oil bottles are great, love your video nice and quick 😊 The top fit perfect.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😊

Merry Christmas Molika!
Merry Christmas to you too!!
They are super cute
Thanks so much!
Love them❤❤
Thanks!
Hey can u please tell me how to make the clay not wobbly pls step by step pls comment
It takes a lot of practice. The clay needs to be centered to begin with or it will go wrong every time.
Thx
❤❤❤❤Adorable.
@@kleinwolterinkable thanks so much!
Did you hand build or throw this. Super cute.
@@kleinwolterinkable I threw it 🙂. I plan on making a video about them... But it may take me a little bit.
I expected your fist to go towards the pot at mach 10
That would be funny.
You are so creative! They're awesome!
@@kimchopra thanks so much!
This is a great idea for the gamers in my life!

I bought some roofing paper and saw the warning for chemicals in the paper itself. Any concerns there as when I saw it I was bummed and didn’t dare use it. Just wondering if you were concerned at all. Thanks!
I wasn't super concerned about it. I did try using a thick fabric (like duck cloth) for the same technique and it worked great! I'll have a video coming out about that in the future.
Can you provide a link to the cork purchased on Amazon? Thanks

Absolutely GORGEOUS❣️
@@erinbuchanan6489 thanks so much!
Thank you!!!!
Are there other similar materials similar to roofing felt?
@@dianasoto5863 there are some that might work about the same. I've tried thick , not stretchy fabric and that works well too.
Thanks - your idea works with slip on paper .
Whaha love to see this! Just working on a video I had to cut down a bit because I was filming myself from very upclose😂 love the plant pot by the way!❤
@@Ellen.s.atelier it's hard to get videos just right, I figure I'd opt for realistic over perfect 😆

Mollika, really curious about your wind chime parts in this video. I am not any social media so if you have posted a picture of a finished one or explained how you do them, I cannot see them. Is there a way you can share this technique. Really enjoyed this video and hope your sale went very well..

@@PerrinPottery thanks so much! It's mazerine blue Coyote underglaze.
Do,you glaze inside the bottle ?
@@Shawn_Reid_Pottery yes, with a dipping glaze that I poured in, swirled around and poured out.

Hi Mollika! Great idea with the little mushrooms. And I love the "make your own set" concept. Good luck at the market!

The little mushrooms are so fun! I'll have to check out your channel 🙂
@@potterybymollika yes I love your mushrooms 🍄!
One note I would like to add on using this technique, and that is there is a sweet spot on how much slip (splashpan drippings) to use. Too much and the tar paper will slip and throw off your center, especially with the large items and not enough and it won't grab the paper. What I do is smooth out the paper on the bat with a wet sponge; and then I let it sit for about 10 minutes or so. This has worked great for me. The other thing is that, when the rim is leather hard, flip the piece upside down on another bat, and then peel the paper away from the edge of the bat with you one hand, while pulling up the bat with the other had. I do this on a banding wheel, as it allows me to work my way around the piece till finally the bat just pops off, there is no need to wire it off. And like you lauradavenport1645, I figured that the cost of a whole roll of tar felt was very cheap compared to to the price of bats, and with the uses that it offers. ;-)
@@coldfire05 thanks for the tips!
Wow gorgeous! What’s the name of the color
Thanks! This was some colored slip I mixed up myself.
I'd buy an oil dispenser, some planters, the biggest bowl, and some smaller ones! I love all the colors

I missed the vocal at the start, user error, cant blame anyone else, that a lot of eggs you made, i love your littly hanging planters, cute. My 1 of 2 best bits, that tiny pot and the big one, love how you took the colour and decoration just over the top and down a little. Love it. ❤😊
