Great video
What the heck…guns are outlawed…did you move ? Fun caliber !
Thank you Sir. Very helpful.
Just ordered one for my Tikka T3x in .300WM thanks for the review!
@@RandomThingReviews you’ll like it.
i like that gun vise. I hate my factory trigger on my new vanguard so
I wouldn't buy your only fans but my nan might be interested 😂
Great Video..
@@mikethoraval2850 thanks Mate.

Stop mumbling!
Try it with out a scope.
@@johnsmith-lx9lw might just do that, but the old eyesight is not what it once was…
I'm going to do my howa 1500 223 and my old savage axis in these stocks in the new year
❤❤❤❤
Lol jesus.. my howa shoots bug holes
Thats a nice solid gun bench you got there.
Why didn’t you loosen up the nut on the front and back out the screw to take the tension off getting the skinny spring in? Other than that, excellent video!
@@ronl384 I was able to get it done without undoing those screws. I was a bit harder to get things in properly, but it worked, which made me happy.
JUST BOUGHT ONE AND HAVEN'T SHOT IT YET SO VICARIOUSLY IN THE MEANWHILE 😊
Hello from Nashville Tennessee US. I ordered the Gun Bloke spring kit so hopefully it arrives soon.
@@charltonlwalker it may take a while…
@@2clicksup910 question. I did the modification where you remove coils from the factory spring to lighten the pull weight. I reinstalled everything exactly like your videos and others. Now I almost completely lost my first stage. It’s a very small first stage followed by a rather stiff 2nd stage that breaks without any travel. Any idea what I may have done wrong where I have very little first stage?
@ maybe adjustment/s on the screw at the front and/or rear of the trigger group. And make sure everything is back properly and sitting as and where it should be. Sounds like CD a bit of trial and error will sort that out.
@@charltonlwalker I did the same mod removing 1 & 1/3rd coils & loosened the adjustment screw to try to lighten it a bit more & it worked fine for about 40 rounds but for some reason it lost the adjustment & got really shitty like you mentioned ….i tightened to adjustment screw back up to make the pull heavier & all is good now 🤷🏽♂️ try tightening the screw & hopefully it works …I have 3 Howa’s & the triggers are awesome as long as they hold the adjustment .
I can't even get groups like that out of my brand new xpr at 50 yds
How do you remove the rear but stock?
Great review. What specific model is this Howa 300 Win mag? Is it sub moa? Does the barrel dispate heat well for high volume shooting than a hunting rifle?
Best review I’ve seen so far on this stock cheers digger
@@pooholeinya thanks Mate. Appreciate the support.
I have hade similar problem , change Hogue stock! One shot always goes further than the others. At first I thought about the rings or the optics, but after changing the stock everything was fixed.
@@oraziobennardo there’s a good chance that some of those fliers are me. That rifle has always shot the 55 grain Hornady V-Max extremely accurately as long as I did my bit.
Thanks for having info I needed
The title should have read "How To Install A Picatinny Rail Onto a Rifle That already Has Holes Drilled and Tapped To Accept A Rail". If someone couldn't figure out how to mount a rail when all they had to do was secure the bolts then they've no business owning a gun in the first place. An entire video devoted to following simple instructions anyway. Useless.
@@johna.a.9829 thanks for the detailed critique.
Thanks for the dickhead observation
I’m disappointed rifles chambered for the 22 hornet are no longer manufactured, apart from Weihrauch and possibly Anschutz. It’s a great cartridge for small properties where you don’t want to make too much noise but need more punch than rimfire offerings. Did you get your Zastava new? I’m currently looking for a cz527 in 22 hornet, without much luck so far.
@@paulh71 the caliber is enjoying something of a resurgence of recent times, yet none of the big manufacturers want to pick it up. There’s still ammo and reloading components available; we just need the rifles.
Love the content im about to start reloading for my remington 783 300 win mag i have and will be using your videos to help me along the way im a disabled army expert marksman and box ammo is so expensive and accurate box ammo even more so. Hope your well

Have you tried the magnum primers yet with 2207 and 125gn pills for part 3. As I have a Howa mini action and I can not find information using the 2207 powder with the 125gn pills for the 300 blackout. I am ready to start reloading, but I'm waiting to see how you go with them. Any info would be great please. Thank you.
@@juils65 I’m actually testing some Vihtavouri powder with some 150 grainers soon. I inadvertently loaded with small rifle primers, so I loaded same loads with small magnum primers to see if there’s any appreciable difference. Also testing subsonics with the Vihtavouri and the 2207. Only using the small primers to make sure they stay subsonic. Should make for a couple of interesting videos. And the 150’s seem to hit harder in the supersonic loads.
Thanks mate, huge help
11:09 You sure u are done? Maybe go over the screws once or twice. The other ones wlll become loose as you tighten others nearby, just saying
@@Leopard_8119 I go over the screws a couple of times, then let it all sit and settle for 15-20 minutes. Then I do them all again. Never had anything come loose.

🇦🇺😎👍Both my .223s love the 69 grainers…Haven’t seen those projectiles at Cleavers…nice looking big long slug…How much do those bad boys cost ?…. I just checked out the website while you were talking , good stuff… thanks for the info brother🇦🇺🏁
🇦🇺😎👍Those copper projectiles rock 🏁, didn’t know they clog up the barrel though. .. Bloody go shooting again🏁…Great interesting info mate🏁
We use the Atomics on the farm regularly mate, and they don't copper foul at all. Unreal performance, and aussie made.
🇦🇺😎👍I had an Australian Mountaineer ( Howa ) in 7 mm Remington Magnum back in 1998 and didn’t that barmaid kick. I used ADI 2213 back then.. Nice rifle but I probably wouldn’t go back to such a large caliber. The biggest I shoot now is .308 & 6.5x55…That’s pretty good groups mate… I prefer 20 power scopes for trying to sort out groups. For me it much easier to see the target at 100 yards… member the ole (Taipan projectiles ? Malcom Bone I think )… Great content 🏁
@@bigtrev761 I’m shooting a couple of 308’s that do the business just nicely, as well as a 30-06 that is also quite well-trained. A 300 Win Mag is too much for most things in SEQ, but I just wanted a “big” gun. Might be useful if I head way North or to try and bowl something over in the next postcode.

Nice looking projectile... I had a look on their site and most of their projectiles are sold out .. They still have some 69g but I wanted something a bit lighter .
@@shanegibb997 these will stabilise in a 1:8 twist, but the 22-250, which is normally 1:14 will not stabilise them. Those 55 grain Roo Bombs look a good thing too, but they’re out of stock. I’m looking forward to the 30 cal projectiles. They’re a work in progress, but they are definitely on the horizon.

@@2clicksup910 that will be interesting , can't wait to see how they go..
Hey mate what’s the qty in the box? Also what seating depth did you end up going with on the howa?
As far as I’m aware, all the REXEM products are sold in 100-piece packs, but get confirmation of that via the website. I went with a COAL (overall length) of 59mm, but that just touched both ends of the internal box magazine in the HOWA, which created minor feeding issues. Knocked them down to 57.60mm, and that seems to work nicely. As I’m loading ammo for hunting only, I don’t really worry about jump to the kans, etc.; I like to make it fir in the magazine, feed, fir in the rifle, go bang then come out all without issues.
@@2clicksup910 Cheers for that, for some reason they don’t have qty on the website, even when you add to cart. Seems like great projectiles, price is not bad at all. I have a Howa mini myself, keen to try heavier pills through them, will give these a go. Keep up the content!
Guess I lucked out my old Winchester loves the ppu they are the lowest priced hornet ammo I’ve can find
@@stiltnerjamie it did shoot, but it did not set the world on fire. But, as you say, it’s the cheapest, and you can get it, which is a good thing. The brass reloads well, and it is the cheapest brass around (when you can get it). Maybe I could have persevered a bit; who knows.
Where would a person find a clip for one of them ?
@@paullavallee1631 I would chase up an importer/distributor in your area. Then maybe chase a retailer. Maybe you can find an online supplier. Either way, where I am (Australia), these things, like most parts in general, can be a little bit hard to come by.
@@2clicksup910 Its the same in Canada, even reached out to Zastava themselves, no luck, asking for a friend who has no computer, I use a Browning Micro Medallion in 22 hornet, great caliber
I'm thousands of miles away, brother (East Tennessee to be exact) but I appreciate your work. We like the ammo you chose, and it likes the longer, heavier barrels for accuracy and reduced recoil. 26 years in the Army has spoiled me using gas operated, 22 cal. pills. I nearly built the same rig, but I came across a bucket list gun that I couldn't pass up. A pristine 59/66 Yugo SKS. It's all matching serial numbers and in very nice condition. It just needed someone to clean out the cosmoline from the recesses. Thanks for making me jealous with your sweet little gun! 🤩
@@duranbailiff5337 Cheers Mate. Thanks for that. We all come across that “one” you just can’t let pass. Mine was a pristine Weatherby Mark V in 22-250 that had fired about 70 rounds.
