My student recently performed this wonderful composition of yours at my Studios June recital, he absolutely loved it… He spent only about five weeks working on it… we watched this video for insight. I posted his performance clip on my channel! Thanks again for bringing your music to my studio… my students also play many others of yours!

I grew up playing some of the songs in this book. These were the songs that I begged my piano teacher to let me play instead of the practice books. My favorites that I still remember and play to this day are Daybreak, Sunset Serenade, and Crystal Glaciers. When I start to forget them, I always open the book back up and learn them again, feeling the nostalgia wash over me. It’s what gave me the passion that I use in my piano every day and it gave me motivation to keep going in piano. Thank you Mr. Springer for these wonderful Peices.

Love that RCM is including more contemporary music in its repertoire.

Also, do you know if a student would be penalised if they played it swung for their exam, since it's not marked that way on the RCM score? Asking because I'm sure lots of students will wonder it over the next few years!

Thanks for making this video Mike. I made a cover of your piece and automatically swung it because it just sounded like such a cool cat of a piece that I didn't even think to not swing it. Good to know you meant it to be played either way - guess I'll go make a cover of it with straight eighths as well now, so as to not confuse people! Great piece, I love this sort of style.

Great arrangements but I think the book would benefit with chords symbols written about the trouble clef. Other than that, this a very good book!
