A dentist has to take out a loan of 1-2 million for a practice and the technology is extremely expensive.

Why is it separate from the medical field? That's my question. It's always like those are your optional bones, at least in the US.

When I learned this, I actually sat down and talked with my dentists about it and they admitted that the job comes with a burnout guarantee and the whole shabang. I usually tried to brave it, but ever since I'm just getting hammered with benzos before an appointment. I'm chill, the numbing works way better and the dentist is less stressed because I'm less stressed. Everyone wins.

my dentist once had a mental breakdown during a surgical procedure and she stopped the operation with the patient having open wound in her mouth... she had to go to the hospital obviously 😅

Stressful is not the same suicidal, there are no where near as many dentists, also they aren’t suicidal, very few dentists are don’t spread misinformation. Just express that it is a stressful and effortful job
