The person in the video is saying people are getting the Quran verse wrong where Allah mentions making the earth flat for us. According to them, Allah didn’t mean it literally-He just made the earth an easy place to live on. A lot of modern Muslim scholars agree with that take, but I'm sorry I don't . Now, I know this might sound a little "out there," but I genuinely believe the earth is flat. And why do I think that? Because there’s no actual proof the earth is a ball-all we’ve got are edited pictures and CGI videos from NASA. You know, great for a sci-fi movie, but not so much for proof. Plus, the theories we’re taught don’t make much sense to me. We’re told the earth is just a tiny dot in the universe, spinning on its axis, orbiting the sun, which is then orbiting the Milky Way, and the galaxy itself is zooming through space like it’s in some kind of intergalactic race. So, everything’s spinning like crazy, yet we see the stars in the same spot every night, and we don’t feel a single spin? I could maybe wrap my head around one or two movements, but this is starting to sound like we’re trapped in some cosmic rollercoaster, and the stars just sit there like, “Yeah, no big deal.” It’s like trying to shake up a bottle of juice, but somehow the fruit pieces stay in place. Now, before you go imagining a dinner plate spinning through space with an edge you can fall off of, let me clear something up. That’s just a silly version of the flat-earth theory meant to make it sound ridiculous. What we actually believe is that we live in a closed system. The two big deals in this universe are the earth and the sky, and they’re connected somewhere (though good luck finding the connection). The sky is like a dome over the earth, and everything else-the sun, moon, stars, and planets (and no, the earth isn’t a planet)-has its own orbit above us. All those other celestial bodies are just background characters compared to the earth and the sky. Or, should I say, "the heavens and the earth?" There’s a whole lot more to the theory than I can explain in one go, but people need to stop laughing it off and actually look into the evidence. And by the way, flat earth wasn’t always a “crazy idea.” Back in the day, it was a fact for ancient civilizations. The first person to suggest the earth might be round was Pythagoras, and his theory wasn’t even based on science. Nope, it was his philosophy. He thought fire was higher than earth(sounds familiar?), so he figured the earth must be orbiting the sun like some sort of cosmic servant. Not exactly the kind of groundbreaking science we’d rely on today, but hey, that’s where it started. If you made it through all that, congrats...you’re a legend:)

As for your question, Allah(ﷻ) said he made the earth for us flat which is true when you walk you won't spin and earth looks like flat and straight forward for you. But in another verse Allah(ﷻ) uses word definitely indicates that earth is like a ball or has oval shape. Hope this answer helps you. May Allah(ﷻ) grant us good understanding. Ameen.

I think she meant that in Islam, our primary obedience is to God, but that doesn’t mean we don’t respect or obey others when appropriate. Islam teaches us to respect authority, family, and elders, but it’s always within the boundaries of what’s right according to Allah’s guidance. She might have been trying to highlight that, unlike in strict cultural hierarchies, in Islam, we’re all equal, and no one’s obedience is absolute except to God. Maybe she didn’t express it perfectly, or the translation didn’t fully capture the idea.

Islam considers begging a hateful act. It forbids it except in dire necessity. begging is not permissible but for one of the three (classes) of persons: one who gives a guarantee to a large amount to settle the dispute of people, for him begging is permissible till he pays that off, after which he must stop it; a man whose property has been destroyed by a calamity which has smitten him, for him begging is permissible till he gets what will support life, or will provide him reasonable subsistence; and a person who has been smitten by poverty, the genuineness of which is confirmed by three members of his peoples, for him begging is permissible till he gets what will support him, or will provide him subsistence.

1-A "rak'a" is a unit of prayer that combines specific movements and recitations. It includes standing (Qiyam) to recite Quran verses, bowing (Ruku), standing up again, and then prostrating twice (Sujood) with a brief sitting in between. Each prayer consists of a different number of these rak'as. 2- Musafir = traveler 3- Wajib = obligatory act 4- Salawat = prayers 5- nawafil / rawatib = non-obligatory prayers. I hope this helps with the terminology, tell me if i forgot anything:)
