My first gun is a Charles Daily 1911 .45 I took it to the range and popped 400ish rounds and it felt great to shoot. The recoil is very low and the grip is the perfect size for my hands cause I'm 6'2 I guess? I Also bought a compact 9mil and it kinda sucks with my hands and long fingers and being tall and thin it's hard to CC so I have to appendix carry to hide the gun profile and sitting for a long time in certain chairs kinda hurts. I do love Kimber guns and I've heard there a lot of hate but they did make my love for the 1911 even stronger.

I always thought the 45 acp and 1911 was overrated until I bought a 1911. 45 acp is still overrated. I went with a 10mm Kimber. Haven't looked back. Best EDC ever.
