I can't believe it took Mirabel almost dying to prove her worth to her family. What if Casita wasn't able to save her? The whole family would regret being mean to her and can't make up for it. That's why you should also love your family no matter what.

I feel bad for both Mirabel and Bruno in this movie! Bruno tells bad visions and now everyone, including his own SISTER, hates him and then just told lies to her children. And Abuela accused him of not caring. The future isn't always gonna be a good thing, but considering the intelligence of the townsfolk, I'm not surprised. Now we have our loveable protagonist Mirabel. She gets no gift and now she gets neglected and took the role of the black sheep in Bruno's favor.

So, when she finally stands up to her grandmother, it is out a place of strength, [see the cracks throughout the village? they're descending from a MOUNTAIN, which, in dreams at least, symbolize Strength and the impenetrable ability to stand tall/firm, hold your ground, and not give in to your sorrows or fears] So again, when she stands up to her grandmother, she is WEILDING her OWN POWER (out of love, ironically), to FINALLY address the situation. And persuade Abuela to "crack", admit/reveal her own, [very human] insecurities, and admit, that, if there IS a problem [which there clearly is], Abuela is involved in the equation, and is not excluded from any one other family member. She is JUST as human and vulnerable as ALL of the other family members. Just like Mirabel. So, thereby, in standing up to Abuela, Mirabel is actually HELPING and AIDING her other family members. In doing so, SHE becomes the strong one [like the mountain in the background]

It's weird I get so much emotion from a house and yet it's so cool. I love the final save Casita does. You can feel it's desperation to save Mirabel, even though it knows it's dying, it does it out of the purest love for her.

I would have to say this is the moment Abuela realized she'd made a massive mistake in the way she'd directed her family. If you notice her expression when she watches Mirabel try to save the candle. Pure terror and worry. She realizes that she's lost touch with what was most important. Family, not the magic of the candle. Worse yet, her granddaughter could have died or gotten seriously hurt trying to protect that magic. In short, Mirabel couldt have died trying to earn the acceptance of Abuela. I think once the dust settles...thats when Abuela truly realizes whats important. Its not a magic house, the respect of the village. Its about the happiness and love of her family

The Abuela definitely deserved this. I understand she had a troubled past, but that is no excuse to blame it all on Mirabel!

This gives me chills. I am rather proud of mirabel for standing up to abuela. It is heartbreaking and tragic and powerful at the same time.

The climax and ending to this wonderful film feels way too similar to the Haunted Mansion movie's (2023) climax and ending !

Yeah. ALL Because of Alma, who corrupted herself! She murdered the miracle and she NEVER even realized! Murdered it by snapping and blaming it all on Mirabel and Bruno! And she made Luisa feel like a loser! And Isabella felt forced to marry someone with an ugly nose! And Isabella confesses everything, which led her to unlock her true potential! And the more she confessed, the more unlocked her true potential was! And everyone lost their home because of Alma! Alma hurt the family, not Mirabel! Casita should’ve never been born out of pain, sadness, or grief! Mirabel should run the whole story and lead! Not Alma! Alma made Mirabel lose her way with the family! Mirabel’s a better grandmother than Alma!

She was even more worried that her heart would break, and that the darkness will continue to spread like the virus!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abuela was worried about the magic that was starting to lose in the house of Casita was starting to collapse. What should she do?

If the fight scene is sad, imagine an alternative ending where, after the Madrigal house collapses, Mirabel and her uncle Bruno die and everyone is sad and then they argue with the grandmother Alma devastated to see her granddaughter and son dead after be mean to them and then hear a mysterious voice that says “When the lamb 🐑 opened the Seventh Seal, there was silence in Heaven and the seven angels 👼 before God received seven trumpets 🎺.
