    Thank you for this solid presentation. I have a better understanding of the content analysis with a comprehensive view. Also, thank you for the instructions of how to code with ATLAS.TI.

    Thank you for this presentation. I was able to make up my mind on using a hybrid coding scheme. I was trying to decide for either inductive or deductive but as you mentioned, it is beneficial to combine. I feel confidence in starting my data analysis. Thank you!

    what a great video, and easy way of explaining. TY. can you suggest a solution : i have semi structured interview transcript steered with pre-concieved themes. i want to deductively arrive at the "acceptability" and "feasibility" of a policy intervention. how should i use Atlas TI?

    • @LeviSwann
      @LeviSwann ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for the comment. Whether you can arrive at the desired conclusions likely depends on what the content of the data is, and what your preconceived themes are. For example, would you be measuring "acceptability" based on some sort of sentiment analysis (using preconceived sentiment codes that aligned with participant responses about their perception of a policy intervention. This is similarly the case for feasibility - sentiment or some other attribute could be used. Certainly it would be possible to do this in Atlas or similar software, but it comes down to the data.

    To be honest we can people with disabilities change disability to ability help them find their passion turn it into a career . I don't want to keep hearing " Oh I can't do this , I can't do that I'm not good at blah blah blah " give things a try Don't let your disability affect you & you can do things too Nobody better than you nobody smarter than you

    Hi, great video! I found it very informative and easy to understand! I was wondering if you could reference the sources you used as examples for categorising themes and even theory for further reading on this methodology. I would love to follow the whole process. Thank you in advance!

    May I please know if I can measure behaviour n actions being taught in text through content analysis

    • @LeviSwann
      @LeviSwann 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It would depend on the nature of the texts. They would need to contain information about the behaviours and actions you are looking for.

    • @LeviSwann
      @LeviSwann 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I think it can help identify themes and relationships. These can be transferred to a framework.

    Huge thanks for this video!! Quick question: In the coding scheme setup you work with categories-codes-subcodes, but in atlas you work with 2 categories not 3 (as far as I noticed). To get a category, code and sub-code; would I have to use a family for category, prefix for code and what follows after the prefix as sub code?

    • @LeviSwann
      @LeviSwann 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm very late to this-sorry. I would either drop category or merge codes and subcodes in this case. You want to organise it in atlas to make coding as easy as possible. In current Atlas (2022) there is more options for structure including groups. Although, even with this functionality I tend to steer away from too many branches/levels in the hierarchy as it can create issues.
