President could do a lot better than this. The user interface needs to be more simple! Period! This is a mobile radio... Are you watching the road, or looking at a damn disco dance on the front of your radio... The designers must rarely if EVER use a radio in their vehicles. "whiz-bangs"... All we need is decent quality, simple interface, and reliability. All the jib jab is for hammy hams.

I also made my own fan kit works awesome can't even tell when they kick on leeps the radio super cool 💯

The worst problem with noise are INVERTERS FOR THE BACKLIT DISPLAYS. They're the noisiest components in anything. Lighting is pretty but not worth it on a radio.

For my bday got new pc chair lazy boy i can use this chair long sit downs cb radio watch videos it's arcadian executive chair the guy at stapes gave me discount for my bday i got down 199$ instead worth 325$ it better walmart chair had since 2021 i can rebuilt old chair back put in my radio room.

Beautiful radio. I stopped looking for one years ago because no one had ever seen one around here. I do have a watt meter and I think a 2 piece Freq counter by CPI. I guess I started collecting from the other direction--

I tried looking for that Facebook group so I can hear this radio on the other end but I'm not finding it. If you have any videos of this radio on the other end, I'm super interested.

How are you liking the Washington? I would love to hear what that radio sounds like on the other end. I'll have to try and find that group so I can hear it. Myself and a couple locals are very interested in that radio.

I agree. Its the singular reason i pretty much never use any export radios. The cobras and unidens are superior in a mobile for this reason alone.
