Nice scenes ! Where’s this at ? Subbed ya
@@mtbtrailshredders Cheers buddy, this is in the Peak District Derbyshire. Subbed you back 👍🏼👊🏼
Agree, place looks really cool
@ Cheers buddy 👍🏼👊🏼
How long it kakes to compete your awsome ride?
@@romanrubaj2109 Hi mate, this one was around 2h 30mins 👍🏼
Looked a brilliant descent at 3:30 Ian 👊🏻
@@EMTBnorthyorkshiredad Cheers Rob, that’s heading down Jaggers Clough a nice fast descent. Just need to be careful as it can get busy 👍🏼👊🏼
Agree that descent looks fantastic
@ Aye it’s a cracker, can sometimes get a little busy mind 👍🏼
@ deffo going on the list I love a long fast descent. I had a 9 minute descent the other day at grizedale ! Was an epic one very gnarly and arms were tingling like mad after lol
@ Nice one mate, yeah some fantastic riding in the Peak you’ll love it 👍🏼
Hi mate. What's that decent from 5min 40ish on the vid? Many thanks
@@davemtb8044 Hey pal, so 5:40 is coming down from the shooting cabin that comes down to the little bridge. The descent after that is also coming down to that little bridge but from the right hand side if that makes sense?
@IanCran76 lol. I'm totally confused. I know that middlemoor decent but that section to the gate I've no idea how you get to that. Really confused me! Do you head up somewhere else first?
That drystone wall proper confuses me,lol
@@davemtb8044haha no wonder you’re confused I was looking on another video 🤣🤣
@@davemtb8044Ok so that is if you head as though you’re heading towards Lantern Pike and before going through the gate turn right and head up then just follow it along
Cracking video mate and looks a good one 👍. Have you got the route so I can download it mate? Cheers
@@davemtb8044 Cheers buddy, yeah there are links to Strava & Komoot in the about me on TH-cam you can grab it from there. You’ll have to let me know if you enjoy the ride 👍🏼
great upload, some route info would be nice, (eg) start point, I live in Rainow and need some local rides. for a newbie

@@RussellManton Thanks man, yeah there was a good bit of water flowing for sure down there 😆
Great ride Ian, you flew through some of those sketchy icy bits 🥶. I can’t wait to head over that area in the summer.
@@EMTBnorthyorkshiredad Thanks Rob, you’ll love the riding over this way and especially in warmer weather bud 😆
You're brave, i live not far from there and I'm not confident enough in my riding to ride in those conditions, nice work!
@@rickpreskey7654 Thanks Rick much appreciate the comment buddy 👍🏼…. Confidence comes the more you ride man and as long as you’re enjoying it then that’s ace 😀
That's very true, I have a habit of falling off on Kinder but strangely did Jacobs Ladder earlier this year without any issue 😂
@ Nice one mate, love Jacob’s it’s a cracking descent! Falling off is all part of it 😂
Well ridden Ian, some sketchy ice patches got to be careful, fun to bomb through the hills when you can thanks for sharing! 😁🤙

I'm planning a trip down to the Peaks in the Spring/Summer - this looks great, but Trailforks has very little guidance - do you have GPX/Strava/TF links for your rides?

Oh my days, I have just finished watching this Ian, banging loop pal, you never fail to show how many fantastic trails there are in this area and ones I’ve never been on, there has to be 50% of that ride I’ve never done, I’m definitely going to try it next year and hopefully before the vegetation starts growing again, I don’t even mind if it’s muddy, cheers Ian, all the best pal 🙏🙏🥳🥳

Great to see your still able to get out round the trails in winter few muddy bits but nothing too bad, total bog swamp up my way weather’s been rough. Nice mix of different trails well ridden thanks for sharing Ian and all the best for 2025 😁🤙
@@emtb-explorer Thanks Gary, yeah have to pick and choose the trails to try and reduce the mud factor 😂…. Happy New Year mate 👍🏼
Smashing video, love those tracks. Quick question, i can never find the bridleway/single track at the bottom of Haggs farm heading toward win hill and end up on the road..can you advise? ta
Nice video mate, we must have seen each other as we ride the same trails, although we were at Llandegla when you did this one 🤘 like the last descent which we use as a climb after 'rollercoaster' or 'stick lady' as some people call it 😎 keep enjoying and posting the great content fella!

It looks really good in places Ian, I don’t doubt that for a second but it’ll have to be next year, physically it’ll murder me 🤣🤣
@EMTBnorthyorkshiredad And before you say anything Rob, no I’m not scared of the slop 🤣🤣
@@yorkneytrailrider1751 Aye winter riding can be hard graft deffo mate 😂….. but does hone the bike skills I find 👍🏼
I keep telling myself that when I’m riding in rutts but so far my brain doesn’t want to learn 😁 I think some people I’m a weirdo when I say I enjoy riding in sloppy conditions but I totally agree with you, I’ve found my balancing at slow speed has definitely improved, the only time it looks like I’ve not learned anything is when I stop and fall off 🤣🤣
Bit shaken mate? Looked like some rough tracks there. Gravel takes you with it. Looked like another fun ride out matey 👍 😀

@ ha! No mate but the area looks perfect and I want it to be perfect 🤩 🙌🏻🤣.
I make you right there pal, it is perfect, it’s the Peak District but I am biased Rob 🙏😉 no seriously mate, you’re probably right to wait for better conditions, areas where there’s limestone can be deadly when wet 😉
@ thanks Sean 👊🏻🙌🏻. Ha would be good if I bumped into you…. And Ian 😂.
Nice mix of singletrack trails and some rocky gnarliness in Bradwell, advantage of winter is that there's less bushes to attempt to ride through (and hill walkers to dodge 😂) but more slick wet mud to navigate, looked like fun thanks for sharing! 😁🤙
Aye its a toss up between dry trails and loads of walkers or wet trails and not many walkers 🤣

@@astronomenov99 Great stuff buddy! Yeah some great riding in the Peak for sure, thanks for the comment and hope you enjoyed the vid 👍🏼
Can’t understand why I missed this video, epic video as ever Ian, Chapel gate is brilliant but also very rutted and the correct line choice is something I always seem to get wrong 😁 it never ceases to amaze me how fast you blast down Pindale, absolute respect to you pal 🙏🙏
@@yorkneytrailrider1751 Cheers Sean, aye I never think about lines until I’m right on them 😂 Pindale was like the M1 mate 😂
🤣🤣 recipe for disaster for me if I did that pal🤣 it was pretty busy that day, I’m shocked that there’s no burnt out cars to block the trail on Pindale, they seem to be an almost permanent fixture on there these days, it’s about time DCC put some kind of partial removable barrier to stop car thieves dumping and burning out cars up there ☹️
@@yorkneytrailrider1751 Aye it’s a disgrace mate, folks dumping rubbish is a right crap thing to do!
It makes my blood boil when I see fly tipping anywhere but in a picturesque location it’s sometimes worse as it’s usually in remote out of the way places, have you noticed how many times the top of Pindale has been fly tipped, I can’t understand why DCC hasn’t placed motion activated solar stealth cameras to catch them 👍
@@yorkneytrailrider1751 Yeah I saw some down Dirtlow Rake too mate they are absolute scum!
