Base premise isn't great, you don't hide a child from view by parading it through the country. The end isn't great either as the father has to give up the child to that horrible sheriff (sorry, I found the character completely unlikable). Could have been avoided by making the father the biological father. The kid actor does a great job.

Great story. Utterly heartfelt and believable. Fantastic acting, especially the lead girl-child actress and lead man role, and the grandfather. I was hooked from the get-go to the end.
