Много ти благодаря човече❤
it is on a downhill...
Outstanding mod! I wonder if the newer gens can accept this?
Burnt my stator out a second time and I always come back to this video 👍🏼🫡
The biggest advantage of a sports Naked Bike is working on it so much easier what a pain in the neck taking the fairing off that's why I would purchase a sports Naked Bike.
It actually looks great to👍
That’s a comprehensive review. Thanks.
I know I'm late to the party but what make are these handle barsand where can I buy them I would love a set for my 2006 blade, thanks for the video
Do you still have the Honda cbr1000rr. If not do you like this better for street and track?
The street triple is a better all rounder for street and track. This is my opinion although others may differ.
@@Peter-fh6up Thanks. What model years?
@@Peter-fh6up Even the new ones with different engine and suspension?
If you do track you will need to upgrade suspension on the triple.. I did. You need to find the balance for street and track which is determined by your weight and your riding ability.. you don't have to go too crazy . Start with Stiffer springs and work from there. The triple has good shocks.
@@Peter-fh6up Thanks. What model years do you recommend?
was wondering if somone could help.i did the diode test and got no reading were i should have and .535 across all the readings were i should.i did the ohms test on the stator which gave me .003 on all the conectors and the ground test which it passed aswell. so both the rectifier and stator have passed all the tests but the voltage at 5000 rpm is only 13.1. I should also mention the battery is brand new with a voltage at 12.7 when off. does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
Where’s the best place to purchase these kits ?
Did it work I would like to fit one to my bike as it's a 2008 model
Yeah absolutely 💯 👌
Hi , I have the same problem on my Bird 1999 , if I leave it with head lights on for few min , with engine off , it won't start anymore . If I keep the engine running but no acceleration its charging 13.1 , 13.4 volts but if I accelerate the charging it shows 14.8 , 15 volts , isn't that a problem ? to much charging ? the Blackbird was not used for a long time so it could be just the battery , it doesn't keep electricity in it anymore ?
The charging when started is ok and within normal range. I would say the battery does not hold charge. Measure the battery voltage at idle . It should be around 12.8v ...then turn the lights on ( just ignition) it should drop a bit and keep measuring and see if it keeps losing charge and dropping voltage at a quick rate.
I am 6'1" and am older so this option suits me well. Where did you get it and do they have options for an '07 GSXR-1000?
Hi mate do you still own the bike? Was it reliable without electrical issiues?
Wait so you cant rev match on the track with this when Downshifting???
wherr do i purchase
can i get a link for your bars please, im 5"11 and to reach the grips im slanted very forward and way uncomfy, my bike appears to be lowered in the front somehow cause i slide alot to the front when i adjust back, so maybe if i lower the back itll help a bit with the arch in my back. if not where can i get the bars and risers
Name of the brand name of the high handelebar you Have mounted on this honda cbr 1000. Thanks for Any reply
I just got the Suzuki gsxs1000f the bike is fast and handles
Hey mate what did that setup cost??
The KIT cost around $850 AUD. I did the fitting myself. Cheers ..
@@Peter-fh6upain’t no way $1000. Bars $50, risers $50
I buy a new stator for my Cbr1000rr 2004 from electrosport but the external diameter is 3 millimeter smaller than the old one can I install it?
With the bar hitting the front fairing the throttle cable are in the wrong location. They should be at the bottom or bellow the throttle.
If i had a bike like this, i would do this conversion too, even though i do not like the look. But, i am an old man, with bad shoulders, so i need this type of seating/riding position. If i was in charge of marketing for this type of motorcycle, i would keep the original style of bars and make them with a lot of adjustment. Now marketing and accounting would probably throw a fit, but i would insist it be done, because factory cost would be much less than aftermarket parts, not to mention time and labor.
Hi Peter your accent sounds really dumb. Where is it from?
Hi you seem like a complete a-hole where are you from?
add to what one you know I haven't a clue which one is this one here. USELESS
Is it 800mm in length?
Now the handle bars are on the way of the suspension adjustments dial.. now you can't adjust the suspension without removing the handle bars.. and the bars are touching the windscreen.. WHAT A MESS!!! GREAT JOB!!
What settings are you running for smoothest shifting?
I don't have the bike now but from memory used run 0.7sec for lower revs down to 0.6 for the higher rev ranges.
hi peter , im not sure about your flat spot. but im trying to find that riser bars you had on your cbr1000rr, if you could link me to the site of the exact same one it would be appreciated. i cant find them.
They are manufactured in Germany...you need to find your local distributor ... search "ABM comfort kit" and go from there.. here is a UK distributor www.bikermart.co.uk/Honda-CBR1000RR-04~07-Fireblade-ABM-Handlebar-Top-Yoke-Kit
does anyone have the exact specs of this kit or a link to a site i can buy it from? the ones im looking at i dont think are the exact same. please help
Would go for the original one just for simplicity of installation, connector is available and no need to take half the bike appart. Also not killing the engine when down shifting
VERY INFORMATIVE THANKS
Nice vid! Does anyone happen to know if that same QS could be installed to a '06 Triumph Daytona 675 Triple?
Yes it can..not a problem at all.
Yes it can
I have a 2006 cbr100rr and was thinking of doing the same thing, with the oem bars is nice just for a little bit, then you get tired. I had a bike before the cbr100rr with the same riding position as this and I could go for hours
Did you go for it?
Brammy B I sold it and got a FZ09
Thanks that helped ,, Real quick ,,Once new stator is in do u need to use a seal or gasket of some sort on the cover case before booting up?
theres a black silicone you can apply to it, hardware store or auto parts store, comes in a tube with tooth paste lid, i prefer the caulking gun oven-sealant silicone that can take 300degrees celcius, its the same stuff and u get to re-use that stuff by leaving a tiny dap outside of your caulking gun tube and just yanking that once its dry out of the end piece and seal something else up days/months/weeks later. 15 bucks for huge tube or 15bucks for small toothepaste one that cannot be re-used once you open it, stupid isnt it
Going to swap out my stock handle bars on my '04 Yamaha R6 for the same bars. Riding my '17 WR250R I prefer the more upright position and so does my lower back. Doing this mod, did you have to replace the brake lines with longer ones as well as the clutch cable?
Yes, the kit came with longer braided brake lines and a clutch line.
Have fun it's a great bike ! But it's no 0-100, you start at 35-40 :-)
5 years later I gotta say are you stupid? He started at 0 lmao
thanks for the video explanation. I have the same bike and two parts of the stator look burnt out like yours. 0.3 Ohms between each of the phases. Back when I bike started having problems I was finding continuity between positive and negative. I think with this stator fault there's a short to ground and it rapidly discharges your battery and there's no fuse that trips. What actually has gone wrong with your stator? An insulation breakdown? I imagine there should be high resistance from each of the yellow wires to the body of your bike. How many ohms did your good stator read? Back when these bikes were newer Honda had a product recall on this part years ago so it appears to be a common fault.
Great video... very usefull!
This kit wasn't a Spiegler kit?
ABM kit...Good quality finishings Recommended..
Thanks for sharing. You've answered a few questions. I'm currently working my way through the forum comments on this mod and I haven't come across anyone saying they had such extreme lock issues. They would be a deal breaker for me. I'm aware that some solutions require the screen to be trimmed, but none say the steering lock can't be used. ConvertiBARS appear to be the most versatile, but they're a bit ugly. The Jaws option looks good for a fixed bar solution.
In terms of a long term review i should give this shifter some credit..whilst i have read reviews of shifters overheating. interfering with revs and bike performance, this shifter does nothing of the sort..never had any issues and as always performed as expected.. thumbs up
Hi peter! Thanks for sharing the video, it was very helpful. Could you please share also the sensor settings that you're using? I have some problem at high revs and I can't find the right setting....
please could you tell me the revs and cut off time that work out best for you?
Hey Marco, I know your comment is old, but I'm just setting up my quickshifter later today. Do you have a good setup for your cutoff times, and if so could you share them?
Great explanation! Thank you! Have been looking for a video this straight forward for over an hour. I didn’t even think of the affect raised bars would have on key locking the bars to the left so thanks for bringing that to mind too
who else had a mental voice over when he said cbr1000rr, but your mind went cbr 1000 fucking double r
Great idea Good video ,can you put a close up picture or video of the socket/plug and I’m gonna run a 10 or 15 fuse between the wires
where can i order this? link?
God above... I know what Im gonna do when getting a quickshifter. Contact the dealer and let their mechanics deal with it :D Gosh thats complicated
The oem triumph quick shifters are much easier to fit...less complicated..however dont offer the same fine level of adjustment. That been said all these extra adjustments are overated if all your looking for is a quick shifter that can fo the job..
