    Thank you very much sir for revealing the mistake regarding the steps because I would not have realised and would have continued according to their instructions. So shout out to you and congratulations for your model.

    Hi, I was wondering if you have any tips on building a full interior panther? I’ve only done one full interior kit in the past which was a mark five male and I’m starting on my panther now

    This will be my 2nd try on this particular kit, I built the clear one, I didn’t know that the cutaway lower hull was available till way after,and I’m gonna paint everything as I go,hopefully I can make mine look half as good as yours

    I built a Jagdpanzer IV that was a hollow Tamiya back when models with interior parts were virtually non-existent. I am 60 and I started building models in the 70's and back then I used to get my models from Kmart. Bandia was the big producer of models with interiors and they were by today's standards very simple. The Jagdpanzer was hollow and I used an interior from Verlinden and it was pure crap. I cut out the hull roof so that the interior could be seen! Tank models with interiors were for many years very hard to find and it you went the route that I did, they were very expensive. The Tamiya model with Verlinden interior kit cost me around $200.00. I am glad to see the manufacturer's are once again producing beautiful models like this again!

    Great build Daniel! Really liked this! But you skipped the photoetch in the lower hull very quickly with "not much to report here" And in the meantime AndysHHQ is struggling with it in th-cam.com/video/RNMT-JGnUs8/w-d-xo.html Same model, but without the cutaway parts. So...really nothing to report on the lower hull? Andy had to sand his torsionbars into oblivion, but you did not...And the photoetch was NOT good. But what do i know? Maybe there is differences in the kits?

    The cut-away hull and turret side seems like SUCH a great idea; skipping the weathering is like a reward you get for building this kit, and may inspire one to invest in a fancy display case.

    This is awesome Dan. I'm currently working on a Takom King Tiger (P), full interior, and it's a real beast. I often view your Panther videos for inspiration when I get bogged down with the King Tiger. Many thanks for your excellent presentations.🤙

    I bought the 27 individual colours and I found that some of them dissipated and it was very frustrating. Just like you said. I thought it was the plastic but it turns out that it was the paint.

    Dan - excellent work on your Panther. Was wonder how you discovered the paint change from red oxide to French(?) blue. Had you read something about the change, and do you know what time frame the change took place? Foundit interesting that the interior of the heavy German tanks was painted predominantly with the dark red oxide, which would make the interior of the tank fairly dark when it's buttoned up. I look forward to this and your future builds. 🤙

    Dan - the build and how you do it is why we're here (watching). Please - bore us with the details! 🤙 Your Panther looks amazing. I'd like to see you build Trumpeter's 1/16th scale Panther "with all the boring details"! Break it down into half-hour or 45 minute segments, for however many segments it takes. You do excellent work - and that's why we're here. Some of us aspire to meet your level of work and results. Thanks for the great presentations.

    Since it didn't také much time until the coulor looks like a mixture of Brown and Grey!

  • @dirktaubenreuther9437
    @dirktaubenreuther9437 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hallo Daniel! You asked, why there were two different schemes of painting for this lokomotive. The grey coulor was just a way of simplifying the construction of the lokomotives. You need only oné kind of coulor in the Stock and it was easier and faster to apply just oné coulor! Therefore since about 1942 or 43 new lokomotives were delivered in plain grey. After the war, the usual Black and Grey was used again. Camouflage was important when it came to the decission which kind of grey should be used. The first oné was criticiesed as too light and therefore it was changed to a darker oné! Since there was not much time for cleaning the vebicles during the war, the original colour of black and red was no problém since it took

    Hey Daniel, this series of videos has been great, love seeing all the updates. I'm building the BR86 at the minute. Did you paint in sub assemblies or once completed? Many thanks for any help!

      Hi there thanks for your comment and im glad you like the series . Ill be back at it once the winter hits . Having a summer break atm. I have painted it after assembly dues to i choosed this colour scheme. I guess if you planning to do the black and red version then its needs to be painted in parts . Good luck with the build and best regards Danny

    The only thing that kinda sucks is that they don’t make different options for how the tarps are draped over the turrets so they all don’t look the same. Just a suggestion but I think they would look a lot better if you maybe added on some more to a couple of the tarps to make them look less uniform.

    This turned out beautiful. If it wasn’t for all the problems I had with the ryefield tiger 1 w interior I would give this one a try. I just wish I would have seen this one first cause I definitely do like the cut out parts.

  • @dirtyd2316
    @dirtyd2316 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The wheel is different because the Germans had a shortage of rubber so they went to the all steel wheels like the ones used on later Tigers.

  • @dirtyd2316
    @dirtyd2316 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Same problems with the tiger 1 kit trying to get the upper hull to sit flush with the body only it was the rear radiator and gas tanks that sat a little to high. Had to do a lot of hand sanding on the upper hull to fit right

    I had the same problem with their tiger Kit trying to get the basket to sit flush with the hull floor.

    I have this kit but have yet to build it. Nice to see one put together. I'm probably opting for peace time red/black paint scheme when I build mine but good to see in grey as well. As always great work!

    Totally agree with you on the Ammo mig paint. I was initially very impressed with their color range and bought up a huge amount. However was frustrated with how difficult it is to work with.
