      In comparison to original RS handlebars which are a bit more sporty are these very comfortable and relaxed. The feel is closer to adventure bike than sports bike. The handling of the motorcycle is very neutral, I didn't notice any big change in handling at all. Driving downhill is more relaxed than original handlebars, your wrists don't get that much pressure. So overall feedback would be: If you prefer adventure-neutral handlebars than this is the way to go.

There are also other solution for top case holder but at the time of buying mine I didn't visually like any of them. The Hepco & Becker minirack is very solid made, build quality is top. The only downside might be that you have to remove the handgrips for passenger. Passenger can hold herself to Minirack but the grips are a bit too tight, or better said too close to seat itself. I use both clutch and QS, I have no specific rule when to use what. On some revs shifting feels smoother using the clutch and on other using QS does better job. Clunky shifting could be from the oil you run. I’ve had really smooth shifts from using oils like Motul 300V, Castrol Power 1, and Mobil 1. I find mineral and semi-synthetic oils don’t shift as smooth as full synthetic or double ester oils in various bikes I have owned.

    • @helmtube
      @helmtube 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know that Suzuki put in semi-synthetic oil on my first service. I haven't tried Motul 300V on any of the bikes I've owned but I do believe is a great oil. I even noticed a difference when using Motul 7100 (ESTER) on one of my bikes.

    • @masterjim69
      @masterjim69 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@helmtube 300V is a double ester. Used by Yoshimura Suzuki Race Team. I'm running it in my ZX9R, an older bike. Motul claims up to 2.5hp increase on top in a four-cylinder bike. I can feel it. There's a guy on TH-cam with a 2014 Honda CBR1000RR who put 8500 miles on this oil and sent the used oil out for analysis. It was still good! I talked to the Motul rep and he said if you're not racing or doing track days or redlining a lot, 8500+ miles is fine. It is a higher quality oil. You get what you pay for. Basically the same as Silkolene Pro Series oil, which is used by California Superbike School. They are the most expensive oils but worth it.

      The one I'm wearing here are Held Fresco gloves. They are great summer gloves. I would recommend them to you if you are looking for a glove which is super comfortable and doesn't feel like wearing a thick glove.

    Good video to demonstrate this bike's abilities. Thinking of adding one to to my stable. It should get along nicely with my FJR1300 and CB1100.

      Suzuki is definitely sportier than both bikes you already have, but at the same time is also quite comfortable. You have a nice collection by-the-way!

    Hello, what is your long-term consumption?

    • @helmtube
      @helmtube 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have reseted consumption average counter before starting the Route des Grandes Alpes trip which was approximately 3300 km long. I was alone on the motorbike with filled panniers and top case. Trip was full of high mountain passes and at the end of the trip my average consumption was 5.1L/100Km. Of course this depends on riding style ...

      Actually not bad at all. Due to the fact that I have a second motorcycle, a big-fat-comfy bmw GS which is very comfortable for pillion I was expecting that due to Suzukis rear seat size there will be just complains ... there were basically none ... I have a top case on the bike so you can also lean back but the seat ergonomic is actually quite good. Also the passenger foot pegs are quite comfy.

      HI there! As a device I'm using an old Iphone 6s. I run Sygic app on it. Are you familiar with it? Sometimes I also just use Google offline maps. Greetings!

      @@helmtube hi! Last week i bought a 1000gt,. Sygic is compatible with the bike. I have to try It.

      @helmtube 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marioarmani9808 It is compatible and I like the app. I still have an old version of Sygic, the one before the subscription version. I do not like the Suzukis connectivity, it's a bit disappointing ... :( Let me know your experience. How do you like the bike?

    How does the yoshi exhaust got with the side panniers installed Is there enough clearance and is there any heating issues?

    • @helmtube
      @helmtube 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi There. The R77S was designed to be used on GSX-S1000GT with panniers. So there are no issues with heat or fitting. It fits perfectly. I have the exhaust now on my bike for about 6000km, did quite some touring with panniers on the bike and I have nothing what I could complain about.

      @@helmtube that’s good to know, have heard of other exhaust manufactures pointing to close to panniers and melting the plastic
