I’ll think about this next time I smoke my pipe. Most of the blends I enjoy contain some Perique. I’ve also smoked it straight up. I think it’s best in a blend. Gratifying to see a 100% American effort here for a unique product that has world wide recognition.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Good stuff I do all of them. Lol. I guess what happens when you blow on it is that the condensation gets pushed into the chamber and the tobacco soaks it up. I get an unburned lump of wet tobacco when I finish a boul, of course I like to back blow while smoking for the fun of it.

Mark Ryan is my hero. Perique pipe tobacco is my favorite. I cannot wait to take the tour.

Bison leather case from Northwest Gentleman. I have a few, and love them. Strongly recommend them.

Gawith and Hogarth Black Irish Twist. Not a big fan of lakeland essence, and I heard it had a strong hit if vitamin n. Tastes like the best burnt ends off a slow smoked brisket. I have to be in the right mood to enjoy it, but I liked it enough to add a bunch to the cellar.

Nate, what makes your videos stand far and above all the rest is that you have fun while smoking your pipe. Many new and old presenters are just too serious. I've had my fill of pipe and tobacco reviews, but I love lively interviews and discussions, and I enjoy your solo chats because you're having a good time. You and I have a lot in common as to how we pack, light and smoke -- except inhaling. Pipe smoking is not rocket science, it's an exploration into what works and what doesn't. Keep it up, and keep it lit.

Sam Gawith 1792 surprised me. I received 2 ounces untinned and the aroma put me off(being a Lakeland Essence) I kept one flake and gifted the rest. I smoked that solo flake and was it a 180° turnaround from the tin note. I went in the hunt and now I have 5 tins coming Thursday. I realized I actually like it after all.

Pretty little clay pipe, and AMAZING smoke ring - that first one was so billowing! I wonder if that's a "churchwarden" on that churchwarden pipe? Gotta love it when the wife interrupts the video, lol! Always happens to me. :) Regarding the clay, I don't like how it feels in the mouth, nor the fact the bowl gets so hot. I have two, neither of which I ever smoke, haha! Actually, one has a bamboo stem, and it's weird too. My favourite pipe material for MAKING pipes is oak, but I haven't tried making one from briar yet. I like smoking briar the most... actually I haven't tried cobs or morta yet.

I need to get a clay pipe, the bogwood looks cool too! I do enjoy cobs too! And hardwood pipes I've been thinking about getting an olive wood pipe too!!! So many options... thanks for the video

I have one each morta, Meer, and clay, a couple dozen cobs, and dozens of briars. Can’t really say I have a favorite material…they each have unique characteristics.

Ennerdale Mixture…I don’t care for most aros, and was surprised by just how much I like the heavy floral aroma and flavor.

I love Briar and Cobs. I've been smoking 4 + years but I still have not tried a Meerschaum or a Morta. I will one day when the urge comes lol. Take care.

MBSM. Very bitey. I think it has more to do with my mouth chemistry. I mix it with Burley which tones it down without losing the Virginia sweetness. SURPRISE. Peter Stokkebye Proper English. I love English/Latakias, but this one is the perfect balance. Not a Lat bomb, not a wimp.

I usually use the flick method. I will add I'm not the best at it. I've made a small mess a few times. 🤣

Funny. I love the Scottish Mixture and it doesn't bite me. The one that surprised me is Erinmore Flake (not Mixture). Opened the tin and the tin note put me off. The smoke is very different. One of my favorites. I'm trying Capstan Gold. After my third bowl, I'm beginning to like this more. Initially the Virginia was too bright for me, but I think I'm really starting to enjoy it.

So jealous that pipe is gorgeous Pirate cake surprised me too, my Aromatic that surprised me was Vanilla Cavendish by Smokers pride, I didn't like black Cavendish at the time...also Gordon pym, ps Luxury Navy flake and cringle flake

Maybe you know or not I only had one pipe for 15 years. It is still my best pipe. I had no idea that you need more. Let me tell you that those are my greatest years in pipe smoking. As Buddhists say desire is a huge source for pain. Thank you again for what you are doing for all of us!🤝🤝🤝✌️

I was just watching your video and showing my wife your pipe telling her that is the pipe from Inglorious bastards. Than I hear my name very well pronounced. I almost had a heart attack 🤣. What you do now it is absolutely incredible!!! So many people that already have everything win this GAWS. We should continue even if it will not be easy to bring back a little bit of soul In our community. As you know it takes a little bit of time until this things get to others.
