Picking up Old hobbies for Quarantine Fun #Shorts

Being under lockdown during this COVID pandemic, we all need something for overcoming boredom, isolation and depression. I have WFH, which covers most of the day. The rest of the it's basically watching and re-watching some of my favourite series like Chuck, Lucifer, The big bang theory, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, etc.. It's been too long since I picked up some of my old hobbies : Creating/building st...
Self Balancing Obstacle Avoiding Robot (SBOAR) using Arduino Uno - by Paul Pavish
มุมมอง 2.3K6 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a home-made arduino based hobby project. Non - tutorial. The robot can self balance and avoid obstacles while moving. A turning sonar head helps the robot to detect obstacle in its path and move accordingly. Like, Comment, Share & Subscribe. More videos & tutorials underway. #arduino #balancing #robot

    why is my servo keeps returning to 0 degree after reacting my desired degree

    I used IDE 2.0 version it fixed this issue and my problem is servo is not continuously rotating (not keep in loop) after 2 minutes servo stop rotating why it happens I don't know

      Check if the servo is still powered or the pwm sweep for loops are running.

      Reduce the time step (delay) and reduce the increment value; if both didn't work, check with a different servo. Might be that the other servos have some burned out angles.

    This is not really a fix... You just supplied the Servo library values you omitted the first time and thus the Servo library uses default values. None the less, not everyone know about these "extra" arguments.

    I'm currently doing this project for my academics. Do we need to seperately dump the code for self balancing and obstacle avoiding Or is there any combined code for these two concept. Please clarify my doubt soon.

    • @PaulPavish
      @PaulPavish ปีที่แล้ว

      In the video, there are two microcontrollers that work together.. One for self balancing and the other for obstacles avoiding... If you have a rtos capable ic, then you can dump them both in the same chip.

    What do you say at 10:49? "That's the maximum this servo can go right now because ...?" Good video thanks

    • @PaulPavish
      @PaulPavish ปีที่แล้ว

      "Because I have burned the rest", means I messed up the servo's feedback/ic trying to test it beyond its range of pwm microseconds in either direction.. Happened for quite a few servos😅...Wow... U listened to that very extent in that video.. Thank you😊

    • @PaulPavish
      @PaulPavish ปีที่แล้ว

      Check the servo with the servo example sketch in arduino ide along with mentioned pin connections... If the servo still didn't respond, it might be the servo.

    Hi bro, Have been testing with flysky fs i6x, ch4 able to rotate one servo, on the same channel another servo not working. tried with ch1 & ch2 with other servos not working. But using a servo tester it can be able to rotate servos.

    • @50megaton11

      @@PaulPavish yes , one servo works on ch4 when test with others not working on ch4 & cch1 ,ch2

    good sir, kind sir, the thing is, its pointless....if my airplane goes at 90 degrees with just a small deflection of 24 degrees, i don't thing there is a need for my servo to go all the way 180...plus, we have this extra 20% deflection end point function in transmitters...so, what you just did was, practically of no use to the average hobbyist.....

    • @PaulPavish
      @PaulPavish 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure. It was meant for people who might have wondered or faced an issue regarding this. Just a share of knowledge and a possible workaround. That's all.
