    This video is bad in many ways...every part is on backwards...plus the order of assembly is going to make your life much harder than it needs to be....basically put the two small side pieces on the mower FIRST with them oriented to where they point UP not down or it will be way too low and plow....then simply mount the C connection piece to it with the flat side toward the back of the mower not like he did it...if you do the other way it will crimp the rubber mat and screws will appear too short or will be a B to get on... its really so much easier than it would be if you did this way...

    Recently bought a BB Maverick and chose the 48" for the same reasons. In the larger deck sizes, several had the same Horsepower as the 48". I'd rather have the enhanced mobility, and more power to the smaller blade surface area=ability to handle thicker and rougher turf if needed. Also less demand and wear and tear on the engine.....in my humble opinion...

      I've just replaced a fuel gauge on a Bad Boy Elite ZT. The foam boyancy had thinned itself out that floats on the Briggs fuel gauge. If your grommet is torn, make sure you get a new replacement for it also. I found a replacement on Amazon..hope this helps.

    omg dude, you screwed that all up. l and r brackets to frame are on wrong sides and when mounted to frame the brackets should have bolt holes higher than frame. also note, stripper hanger is backwards. notice you maxed out your adjustment and still have supper huge drag? it should be 1 inch from level concrete floor. smh. the lawn guy? quit.

    • @georgeligouri
      @georgeligouri 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      in his defense, the garbage instructions Bad Boy provides with this kit 100% show the brackets mounted upside down like he did. He definitely mounted the striping bracket backwards. Bends should face front of mower which would have corrected the rubber so its not being pinched. If you install as they have in the directions the rubber has so much drag its ridiculous. Bad Boy sucks. They do not have a install video and the paper they give you for directions is the doings of a preschooler. I have mine mounted like you mentioned and the angle of the brackets when facing up dont line up properly with the striping bracket. Looks stupid. Terrible engineering. This is my 2nd season with the mower and Im not impressed. Selling next year and buying an exmark or walker. Not time for PooPoo.

      Thanks! I got it from the dealer, maybe check with your local dealer and they can hook you up believe it was like 5 or 6 hundred bucks. Check your deck i cant remember if it has a wheel underneath in the center of your back deck to prevent you from scalping. My elite now had that issue your talking about and I adjusted the height of the wheels.

    Does this mower work good for a little side gig cutting grass....looking for something in my price range to make some money on the side having small lawn care busines for people I know and family members

    • @thelawnguy1599
      @thelawnguy1599 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure! My magnum made me close to $65k in 2 yrs. I put over 200 hrs on it and literally had 0 not 1 issue with it. Changed fluids and blades according and filled it with gas. I upgraded to the elite this year since its faster and a few other reasons. I have another video describing what tactics helped me to make $2,500 plus a week mowing on the side. I now do it fulltime and am a traveling Millwright in the winter. I highly recommend 👍

    • @durtysouthkustomz8862
      @durtysouthkustomz8862 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah but like how much better is the magnum then a regular riding mower , because everything I'm seeing right now is that it's not very fast for a zero-turn because my old riding mower is like 1 mph slower

    • @thelawnguy1599
      @thelawnguy1599 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@durtysouthkustomz8862 I was mowing 5 to 6 acres a day with mine. Some apartments complexes i moqed were big 2 acre lots. I wouldn't focus on the speed to much, the efficiency of the zero turn style or magnum is how much faster it is to go around corners, turn around, or go around objects. That is where your gunna save the most time. If the speed is what your after bump up to a elite or other model. My elite is faster than the magnum for the big open straight lined areas

  • @psychohappydude
    @psychohappydude 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I am thinking about getting one too. How did you decide to get the 48" over the 54". I originally thought I wanted the 48". But, that is a lot of mower for a 48" deck. Do you have trouble getting under trees with really low branches at all?

    • @thelawnguy1599
      @thelawnguy1599 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I went with the 48 cause thats what I had on my magnum and I loved the deck size for small and big yards. I dont have many clients with branches in the way, they are usually pruned. If not ill weed eat away from then so when I pass around the edges I don't have to deal with them. It is alot of mower for a 48 but with speed and the front tire arms being shorter that was my main reason. Plus when I mow small yards I can mow them in 5 min compared to a walk behind and the 48 doesn't look to big on small yards.
