Everyone who has ever been to one of their concerts, inside or outside, can tell you they sound even better live than in the studio. They pay attention to the details and have excellent people supporting and mixing. This tends to be true of most or possibly all top Japanese bands. But Band-Maid was and is my #1 band. And they give every show all they've got and that's a lot. If lead singer Saiki (Sigh-key) took a drink before starting, it is probably her special throat support blend. Offstage they don't shy away from alcohol. Bass player Misa (MEE-sah!) would have chugged a bit of beer or possibly whiskey just before this. She used to do it in the early days to deal with stage fright; now she is more relaxed naturally but everyone expects it. Drinks on the Orange amp. Misa is the tallest at about 5'7". Little Miku (MEE-koo), rhythm guitarist on the metal-top Zemaitis, is actually the heaviest drinker, but never when it could impact her performance. Not sure about how much drummer Akane (ah-KAH-neh) or lead guitarist Kanami (ka-NAH-mee) imbibe, I have seen them with the occasional beer, usually with meals. Kanami's favored drink is gourmet coffee.

“World Domination” was and is a spectacular album. Bands hope for one or two hits and Band-Maid has at least 7 songs there that are now concert standard fan favorites

Here in 2020. No matter how utterly cute Miku is, she is not a child. She founded the band, learned guitar real quick, she's quite the talkative MC during gigs, quite talkative during interviews such as above & quite a horse racing gambler . And oh yeah ... she's cute (and hot).

Black says that before, he felt like B-M was taking things too lightly, saying they want to conquer the world, so he felt like being mean to them a bit. But now he changed his mind because it's amazing they went on world tour. Then ask where they went. Miku answer England, France, Germany. Gray asks Saiki where she felt the fans (who B-M calls master) were the best master-like. She said London, where their fans received them with Okaeri (welcome back, which is one of the greetings maids use towards masters). They were talking about their goal of world domination and thinking what to do concretely to do that. Saiki then suggested to make the actual name of the album World Domination, and the songs around that theme. Then they end with where they will appear next.
