Everytime you change the drag you need to spin the reel a few times for the new setting to engage. Remember that, makes all the difference.

slowing your calling down and getting a few crystal clear good sounding notes can be a lot better than trying to sound like a pro while not being a pro, especially with smaller spreads like this

I have the vengeance rod and I love it. However I put the silver max reel on it. Also my rod is pure silver, not the camo design.

I've recently traded for a Vengeance reel and I am thoroughly pleased with it. I don't have a Vengeance rod to use with it but that's ok. It's on a Lew's Xfinity rod for the time being which is a great combo itself.

Happy I got this pos for 40 bucks. Reel lasted about a dozen fish before the claw that goes in the reel seat broke on a hook set.

I snagged one of these at my Walmart on clearance for $40 last winter. They’d been sitting there for $75 and I knew they’d go on clearance in the winter. Great combo!

My AG black max combo was 60$.. Never had a expensive setup? Is it that much better? I have an Q accurist too but it was under a 100$.

Super Light 😂 you’re joking right, if you ever use G Loomis NRX+, you might probably pee in your pants then lol I pick up that googan rod at Dicks and it’s nothing near compares to NRX+, although NRX is $600+ just the rod alone

I Bought one from Walmart last Christmas as my first Baitcaster. Theres a bit of a learning curve to Baitcasters but I was able to get it Dialed in and I've caught multiple 5 and 6 pounders Absolutely no problem. For me it was a great introduction to Baitcasters.

I bought 3 of these rods and have caught multiple 5, 6 and 7 pounders on it and they still work great.

I bought one of these at walmart but the reel does not wind the line, could it be some adjustment in the drag or could it have come with problems?

I have the 6'9" Vengeance medium heavy with a black max3 reel.. I love this thing I take it over my Kast King Crixus and Perigee II rod almost all the time.

Don’t get me wrong the gold series rods are nice but I think for $20 cheaper st.croix bass mojo rod is just better in my opinion but over all love the set up🙌🙌
