Restoring a $1.5 million dollar Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster.
มุมมอง 16K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello, In this video we will be talking to Mike, and Dave about the restoration process of a Mercedes 300SL. I had a lot more questions I wanted to ask, but due to my mic failure I had to cut it short. My mic failed right before we started filming, I wasn’t able to do much because Mike and Dave only had that day available for filming. That is why it became a very casual video. If some viewers w...

Buy this car before it’s too late.Future Investment the 1999 Mercedes C43 AMG a true Sleeper 🚀
มุมมอง 22K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Instrgram: @baqa_bolbolan Today I am introducing a really special car. My 1999 Mercedes C43 AMG also known as The Pocket Rocket. AMG was a company which started in 1967 by 2 Germany engineers. They use to bump up the horse power, add flares, add wider tires, and enhance the over all performance of the car. Both these engineer were working on 300SE engine in development department when Daimler-B...

Is 1973 Porsche 911 as fun to drive as the newer sports cars?
มุมมอง 20K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Follow me on Instagram: @baqa_bolbolan In the video I am going to be answering the most commonly asked question: “Why do you like classic cars as a young adult?” I do not want to repeat the same points here, so please watch the video and enjoy 👍🏽 #Porsche #classic #911 #Porsche911
"you can go as fast as you want", as long as you don't want to go faster than 20mph... hee hee
Awesome video! It's way too underrated
hi dear I am looking for 300SL gullwing project for restored . Please contact me if there is something you are looking for. Thank you
Hello, My advice would be to buy a fully restored car. Any Mercedes 300sl gullwing project is very expensive car to acquire, and restoring one will send you back another $400-$500k CAD.
I have a z50 a with a 140 swapped onto it
I really like your Z50 buddy! great video
Thanks 👍
Id love to find one of those
A car is made to be driven I’m going to buy one and drive the hell out of it. and put miles on it
For old classic Mercedes where could you get the replacement part? For example I could not get the oem mono wiper assembly for 1991 300 E w124. Greatly appreciate if you can help
Hello @rdd5990 ,usually my MB mechanic sources all the parts for me. But you can join W124 forum, and you might come across a member who is selling a oem wiper assembly. Or visit a local junk yard. Here in Vancouver we have Ace German Used Parts LTD he usually has hard to find parts. Maybe you can give him a call. I hope it helps 🙏🏽
Love it!
Fantastic video!
Great video!
Nice review
You feel the same way I do about these cars Nice to see you enjoying your car Cheers lad!
Just watched this - twice! Excellent - you explain with passion and you are very articulate! Lovely! Thoroughly enjoyed it and promptly pulled the trigger on a 86 3.2 SSE Targa!!
VERY good Job
Could you answer a question for me I acquired a Honda monkey the serial number is z50a-1086 23 how do I determine the year
Hello Stephen, please email me the picture of your bike including the picture of the serial number. I will ask my friend who is a Honda Expert to determine the year of your Z50A. Baqadoesauto@gmail.com
Excellent summary of the little Honda 50s. I had a red one, 1970 or 71, no lights. For my 6-year-old, I made a smaller seat, by sculpting, padding and upholstering a 2x4 piece of wood! I welded two brackets to mount it like the big seat, and it looked like a tiny cafe racer! My kid LOVED that low seat. I appreciate that you mentioned all the different "Monkey" models Honda made over the years back then. Honda always designs themselves away from really good designs, and loses previous buyers' interest in the replacements, even if new potential customers are attracted. One of my favorites was the 1968 era of scramblers, from the T-bone framed SL90, the 160 and the 250. My older brother bought a brand new 1963 250 Scrambler, and I was maybe 11 then, and thought his bike was a big BEAST! The gas tank shapes were a very cool shape back then for all the scramblers, eye pleasing and definitely unique to Honda. I bought a new 1968 Scrambler 90, Seattle area, for $400.
Thank you so much for sharing 😊
I have a 1969 z50A and am still restoring it. Great little bike.
I have a 2000 model year in burgundy. Only 25 imported into the US that year and only 1 in burgundy.
Keep it! Don't let it go.. I have a 99 Blk one. Had it for about 4 yrs now..170K miles on her, I put a trans from a CLK55 in her.. She's back on the road after sitting for almost a year.. Amazing car. I absolutely love it. Can't get rid of her. 💯💪🏼
Awesome video 📹 it's great to see the younger generation in a Air cool 😎 911 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Extremely underrated channel. You deserve at least 200k
Thank you Santiago 🙏🏽
I only last week bought aC43 wagon. Not driven it much as sorting some bit first. Leaking rocker cover gaskets seems they suffer with this. A d detailing it inc a 2 stage machine polish. Mine is metallic blue with black leather my central console dash and door caps are black carbon look. Bose stereo, Sunroof. I really like it. Think I still prefer my W126 500 sel. But time will tell.
I had 2 1998s & both needed transmissions replaced. Didn’t matter with the maintenance. I gave the silver one with 2 tone interior as a present & kept the other that’s Obsidian Black with black interior. I put E55 engine plus under pulleys & ECU tune. I put close to 300K miles on it until I sold it. I sob when I see pictures of it. I miss the C43s.
How hard was the e55 swap I’m 15 currently restoring mine and want to do one in the future
points deducted for wearing cheesy masks
160k mile one sold for 8k in USA last month buy the high miles one👍🏻
Great video!!!! Thank you.
Thank you for watching 🙏🏽
we can also buy an old w202 with 2.5 OM605 Turbo Diesel engine and make it 400 horse-power
Wow just awesom
I know a guy who's had one since I can remember....it's mint and he drives it like a normal car. He knows what it's worth and not one kid has ever messed with this car. I like to think its out of respect for the car but I know it's because the owner it 19st and 10%>
So its at 202 likes , how mad would you he if i took it to 203
I wouldn’t be mad bud lol 😂

Great video and good for you! absolutely amazing car and the SOUND!! I have a 1987 3.2 and it's great too. SO MUCH FUN
Great video of AMG C43. I also have a 1999 model, Brilliant Silver with Blk/Silver interior. 75K miles. Great cars, eh??
Отличное видео! Спасибо!
Спасибо за просмотр 😊
Very nice Video of your car , it Looks Great , and You’re Right , once you Drove it you‘re hooked!!!
Totally agree about the connection between car and driver
The spirited nature of that 2.4 liter engine is far more enjoyable to drive and listen to, than most of the larger more powerful engines after that time period. Good on you mate, very nice example of early 911
Thank you Douglas 🙏🏽
How much did he charge you for body work out of curiosity?
Hello Erik, They quoted $23k CAD, including the paint work. I think that’s super reasonable. Considering their knowledge, and craftsmanship. This will be a concours Isetta.
I love the color, wonderful car man
@Subarashi Zoe Thank you brother 🙏🏽
You‘re a real 911 lover...👍🏼
Thanks Michael 😊
great video! loved it :)
Thank you! 😊
did you sell your 911?
Hello @Joseph Yang, I didn’t sell my 911. 😊
@@baqadoesauto9219 I thought I saw it listed on Craigslist last week and I was a bit surprised. I met you one evening in Yaletown, parked in front of Earl's. Hope to see you again here soon!
@@jyang747 For sure, I hope to see you again 😊
Well done!
Driving my 1974 911 Targa was the most fun you could have sitting up. Thanks for reminding me.
I’m glad 😊
Bro this a good video
I am owner of this great car! But with om606 diesel engine💪💪💪🏎🏎🏎😉 its really amazing car
That’s awesome 😎
You´re so right! Classic cars are art! I see it the same way. Best regards from another C 43 AMG owner from Germany!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Really nice video, I have a C55 with manual swap and ML55 on my channel. I am on the hunt for either a C36 or a C43 currently.
You got the right philosophie in your mind. Super super presentation. Thanks a lot!
Thank you! It means a lot 😊
I've got a c36 and c43, love the 3.6 as that was a true AMG engine before Mercedes took over AMG and I feel it has a better AMG kit/appearance and just as fast. I'm Breaking a C36 AMG at the mo which is going in my W124. It's an addiction oh and I've got the ultra rare W210 3.6 AMG. Awesome video thou bro, might start doing the same
Hello, I agree. I had a chance to acquire a C36, but something dragged me towards the C43 AMG. I agree with you 100%. The C36 has a better AMG kit, and it looks nicer aesthetically. The W210 3.6 AMG is special. Looking forwards to your video 😊
