I giggled silly about the solar lights 🤭 l've been so excited at the thought of dressing it with fairy lights! but still waiting for any bargains to get some🤣 Do you have some in/on yours?🙂 I am trying to think the safest way to do this, wether to hang the fairy lights outside or inside the greenhouse🤔. Thank you, it took me ages to notice the missing big Van Gogh at the corner of the bedding, not until I walked around the back area of the garden and found it on the ground🙈 I surely know now to stake them sunflowers properly next time!🙀 I love how you narrate how your sunflower is doing, it sounds amazing. I didn't know about the squirrel's ability and determination to decapitate some (but I know they can be surprising and cheeky little fellas) this is sooo adorable though, I will ensure to leave some of mine for them to enjoy the seeds later on this year. 🥰 Jungle-like greenhouse sounds perfect to me🥰 I would love to see mine develop into a healthy, functioning one, like yours. Next year, I will try and grow some unpinched toms again but in the greenhouse, the three I have here in pots growing outside, keep on losing branches. I think it's because I haven't staked them properly again like I did with my sunflower!🤣. Hopefully next year I can try again but will keep them inside the greenhouse with loads of support and strings. I am happy your cucumbers are doing okay despite the slugs :) Mine has produced 2 good medium-sized cucs but after these the new baby cucs with flowers are just turning yellow and then dropping off the stems, I reckon I've been overkeen on Tomorite? that or overwatering it or maybe underwatering🤔. Thank you so much for the much needed reminder about my toms, I will quickly look on youtube on how to do this correctly and will start doing the tapping ritual with them first thing tomorrow🥰🤞 When we leave the door open we get some buzzers here too but as soon as they get in I think they would panick and then I would panick too🤣😂 and can see them flying all over the place trying to escape and so I help them out ASAP🙈 so a tapping dance from tomorrow will be in order! Zdecydowanie przekracza moje oczekiwania, które obecnie są bardzo, bardzo niskie, bo jeszcze nie nauczyłam się go poprawnie używać :D Mam nadzieję, że uda mi się o niego dobrze zadbać, żeby służył wiecznie. Dziękuję :) Mama na milion jest naprawdę piękna. Jest coś w ułożeniu płatków, co również mnie urzeka. Róża Pasterska jest naprawdę wyjątkowa i już po raz drugi w tym roku radzi sobie całkiem nieźle. Chyba właśnie odkryłam moc skórek od bananów! Po prostu je posiekałem i posypałem podstawę moich róż. Będę musiała jeść więcej owoców, żeby mieć więcej skórek do podzielenia się z moimi różami. Różę Pokoju rzeczywiście trudno zadowolić (ćśśś) Mam nadzieję, że powiedziałem to szeptem, żeby jeszcze bardziej nie zdenerwować tej róży! :D Dziękuję bardzo, że zawsze doceniasz moje filmy, przyjacielu. Rozbawiłeś mnie na widok wrzeszczących mew :D Rzeczywiście są tu najgłośniejsze, gołębie zawsze trzymają mnie w spokojnym towarzystwie. Pisząc to, mam nadzieję, że masz już udany weekend. Uwielbiam te lilie, mam szczęście, że wybrałem kilka pachnących odmian, które tu rosną. Plus te jakoś po prostu dobrze rosną na naszej pościeli, podzieliłam się trochę z sąsiadką z sąsiedztwa, ale niestety jej się to nie udało :( dzięki Bogu mój zapach jest tak silny i odurzający, że mogę dzielić to samo przeżycie z sąsiadką <3 Mam wrażenie, że ona też ma te lilie w swoim ogródku :) Ja też mam zamiar odwiedzić Twój ogród, też zauważyłam kilka pięknych lilii w Twoim ogrodzie, bardzo się cieszę, że możemy dzielić z nimi te same piękne chwile i się nimi cieszyć. Good morning 🙂 Thank you for your message, I hope you are well and that the sun will soon put its hat on for us🌄. It is indeed very subtle and elegant rose.🥰 I didn't really notice this before until I started making videos, when I'm unable to record the moment straight-away and have to leave the task later on, slowly I realised how much the blooms size change throughout the day (that is, if we are having beautiful weather and the is sun shining!). So I would end up recording patchy clips in different times and days to capture this process😆 I also noticed this my Emily Bronte and Golden Wedding Anniversary roses😍 Oooh, I actually never thought of the sunflower following the sun, that makes sense now why they keep on moving about!🤣 These slabs have been moved so many times already, we put these like you can see in the video when we had to use wheelbarrow for the greenhouse project. I love how portable these concrete squares. Honestly, if they could talk and walk, probably would have walked out already on me! 😆 Hopefully though these are now to stay forever laid next to the greenhouse for extra footpath around the area🥰 Thank you so much, we're hoping the greenhouse will be completed around next month, fingers crossed:)🤞. I can totally relate with you, I am so pleased to hear I'm not the only one that goes out here and speak to each of them, like children, everyday. 🥰 The struggle, I find, is knowing when is enough!🤣 I think our tiny space would soon let me know 🙈. Apart from making a raised border around here, we didn't really make a 'plan' originally of what plants to have here, so like yourself, I also ended up planting roses all over the place in the winter of 2020 and then just adding random companion plants afterwards, whatever tickles my fancy, without knowing which is what and their height and appropriateness😂 I'm so lucky it turned out as is now, despite my approach to gardening. Some of my potted-roses got eaten too but I'm unsure of which one amongst my tons of garden companions (or whom?! 😂) However, the ones in the ground seemed to have been okay so far🤞which is a bit odd (not complaining though!). I tried keeping companion plants in my potted-roses but I think, LA & Desde have now had enough and are now resolute to not share their space with anything anymore😆 I might be sneaky and try and test these theory again later on! Oh my goodness! Blimey 😂🤣 Your foxgloves made me laugh so hard! You must have the best quality of fake grass, it pranked and tricked the foxgloves brilliantly🤣. Dziękuję bardzo za wiadomość, mój piękny przyjacielu ogrodniku <3 Mam nadzieję, że nie masz nic przeciwko, że wspomniałem Twoje imię i kanał :) Po prostu uważam Twój kanał za źródło pozytywnej energii i inspiracji, szczerze czuję, że powinieneś już mieć ich więcej widzów i subskrybentów, więcej osób będzie szczęśliwych i zrelaksowanych po obejrzeniu Twojego pięknego ogrodu. Zawsze to robię :) Groszek, który kupiłem, gdy był jeszcze malutki, z lokalnego ogrodu. To był tylko eksperyment polegający na posadzeniu go w doniczce z tulipanami, które nie rosły dobrze. Zobaczę, czy uda mi się znaleźć film, który nakręciłem, kiedy to zrobiłem, i prześlę tutaj szybki film, aby go udostępnić. :) Może następnym razem spróbujesz uprawy w doniczce? Uwielbiam wszystkie rośliny, które już rosną w Twoim ogrodzie, choć wszystko jest zdrowe i piękne! Oregano jest niesamowite, całkowicie się z tym zgadzam. Musiałam je posadzić w doniczkach, bo tak łatwo rosną w mojej ziemi ogrodowej i szybko się rozprzestrzeniają, ale są tutaj perełką dla owadów, jak to miło powiedziałeś. Nie mogę ci wystarczająco podziękować za tak potrzebną radę na temat floksów, więc pomyślałem, żeby ci podziękować w moim filmie <3 Mam teraz więcej niż 1 główkę kwiatową, yay! Czerwoną różę trzeba odizolować dopiero, gdy umieściłam obok niej różowe róże :D Ciągle walczyły o uwagę moich oczu i kręciło mi się w głowie, na którą patrzeć najpierw! :D Mam nadzieję, że znajdziesz dla siebie idealne miejsce, jestem pewien, że tak czy inaczej ;) Lilie tutaj są niesamowite, nieważne, gdzie je położę, po prostu rosną tak wysokie i szalone, niestety skończyły mi się kołki, aby je wszystkie utrzymać, więc niektóre są po prostu wygięte i nie wyprostowane, ale równie kwitnące. Modlę się, żeby Twoje następnym razem dobrze rosły, ale widziałam u Ciebie w ogrodzie te krótsze, te też są przepiękne <3 Wygrzebię tu nazwy lilii i wyślę Ci kolejną wiadomość z ich imionami :) Przepraszam, ta wiadomość jest najdłuższa, jaką Ci wysłałam, pewnie już byś był śpiący, przesyłam serdeczne pozdrowienia piękna ogrodniczko 💌💝🤗<3 xxx

@chocomoose394 Thank you so much for your message 🥰 The other lilies are now opening up too and I got a surprise cupful of red roses from this patio rose this afternoon, the rainwater weighed down some blooms and the 3 stems holding those snapped🙈 but it was a beautiful timing. We put the gravel here, replacing the original grassy area growing on top of heavy-clay soil. The original intention for doing this was to have a very low-maintenance garden but then the pandemic happened and I developed strong love of nature and became obsessed about gardening. So I'm now taking loads of plants back in again (worrying about where to plant them after) and trying to find space to keep them growing permanently 😅 We would probably have kept it as it was when we moved in, if we had known that I would be this mad about plants!🤣 but having the gravel here has definitely saved me loads of time and maintenance and is still serving its purpose :) I wish I had made videos when we did this process here to share with you, as I tend to explain things in long way around before I get to the point, if I get there😆 but I hope I have described it okay ish. I think you are right about the gravel and slugs I very rarely see one near the gravels and so maybe that is what stopping most of them from crossing to the veggie area from the main bedding 🤔. Originally we couldn't get access to the back towards the fence it was all blocked with evergreen hedges? with (I think) 2-3 feet gap of dry and heavy-clay soil from the hedges to the fence, not even some beneficial weeds were growing. We couldn't keep some of the hedges but thankfully managed to find way to keep the hollies (King Ilex ones) which is so good because these are the main source of food for many insects and birds in the winter when they bare red tiny round berries ❤. I always love walking around this area because of the little avenue/canopy feel I get from the hollies so lovely and as you have said more space for plants❤ Thank you so much for sharing your precious time with me enjoying my videos, I really much appreciate it and even so when my videos make my viewers day a bit better🥰 It's been raining here now as well in the South-West since I made this video but the weather forecast for this week is now looking drier albeit windy, fingers crossed we'll get another spell of summer sunshine soon before it gets cold again! 😉💌 xxx

@@vimeopictures5170 Thank you🥰 I feed mine with fish, blood and bone natural food, either in powder or granules whichever is available here. Also, I have a plastic composter bin where I put all my kitchen scraps and garden waste (except deceased ones and perennial weeds roots) and I mulch the ready compost around my roses but a store-bought multi purpose compost from garden centre is also okay, if you don't have one at home. I do this in springtime before the first flush of blooms and second time now mid-summer, after deadheading spent blooms for the second flush of blooms. :) Recently, I discovered I can also use chopped banana peels, so I just literally chopped the skin and sprinkle directly around the base of the roses, you can cover with soil afterwards or just leave as they are (I just leave mine on the soil :)). I noticed the rose are also enjoying this. I hope you can also grow yours bigger next time 🥰🙏 Mine didn't perform well until after they settled in from 3 years being planted. Miałem już trochę sałat, które tu posadziłem i większością podzieliłem się z żółwiami moich znajomych, którymi opiekowałem się w zeszłym tygodniu. Czy to różowa róża? czy czerwona róża? :) Różowa to Timeless Pink, jest jedną z trzech, które wykopałam z ziemi i posadziłam w doniczce i jako jedyna (z całej trójki) teraz dobrze kwitnie. Czerwona nazywa się Red Dwarf i jest różą tarasową. :) Dziękuję, mój drogi przyjacielu ogrodniku <3 xxx🥰💌

Thank you so so much for all the useful information you have shared with me 🥰 really much appreaciated 🙂. I have copied and pasted your message in my notes so that I can go back to it again when it gets really bade here. So far, crushed egg shells seems to also help here but now that I mentioned it... I will wait for sod's law to happen now 😆 Plastic bottles, so clever idea! I will need to collect used plastic bottles for cloches, I feel these will come in really handy when I plant out seedlings next time ( although I feel the slugs are yet to find out my newly established small veggie area! Hence, the damage I am getting from them is only contained around my potting table where they know by heart, new plants are always available to be had! 🙊 I have some plastic trays with lids and plug mediums but I have never bothered to check thoroughly after I place the lid back on every evening, the cheeky buggers must have been hiding around there somewhere, waiting to be locked in for the night, to party and feast! 🤣🙈 I hope your current garden problems will improve and all the defences you have mentioned above will work for good🙏. You've just given me a light bulb moment, around watering my plants too and keeping the water within a make shift reservoir, I will dig around my bedding to make some around my plants. The soil around my garden is not leveled well and so most of the time I have to water slowly so it doesn't run down towards the outside fence where the slope goes naturally, so thank you for this too! :) My main sunflowers irritants are the birds, when they run around here playing or fighting, they just rampage on any small plants, it's sometimes annoying but they make me giggle and entertained more, so I just let them be, I just moan and cry after the show🤣 Sending positive vibes to your garden too and thank you so much again for your message. Blooming slugs :D I have been sprinkling crushed eggshells on mine around the base of each affected plant... and so far it seems to work, fingers crossed! I have some granules slugs killer but I'm still yet to use those, I'm trying hard not to resort to using it, so hopefully crushed eggshells and other natural repellents will do the trick :) xxx
