    Hammer the rivets?!?!! This is not right. There is a special tool to correctly form the rivets and you need to set the distance between the link and plate with calipers. If you can't do this right, use a clip type master link. Do not follow this video!

    Thanks for the video! Did you experience any issues particularily with the loosening up of the mount or the damaging of the phone camera? The only problem in case of the VFR is when having to add the tankbag which then makes any mount completely useless ☹️

    You are making big mistake. Never push dirty brake pistons to the caliper. This destroy the seals and blocks the pistons. Remove brake pads, clean pistons surface, use pistons grease, after that, push them inside.

    • @JeremyTheMad
      @JeremyTheMad 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      for what it's worth, Page 15-14 of the genuine honda service manual says to do push the pistons all the way in as the _first_ step of brake pad replacement.

    Great video, I'm have done the same on mine, but the sliding pin on the left I still havent since I was unsure what part of the system I had to bleed. I was wondering if, other than the top bleed screw if it not necessary to bleed the center bleed screw, that connects to the rear master cylinder?

    Hey man. Nice clear video of changing the brakes. But please do not forget to put back the vibration plate, you removed them and did not put them back. The thin metal plate on the inside brakepad with a bunch of holes in it. If you dont you might get squeaks during braking or slight vibrations.

      There are no common problems and i suggest not getting the 2004 or 2005. in 2006 they made improvements to the v-tech and changed the turn signal lenses to clear. This bike is very popular because of how reliable they are.

      @@ДядькоВасиль are you frightened about your cambelt in your car? If not, this is no different, replace the tensioners at the 24,000 mile service intervals or when you hear chatter, you'll be fine. Reg/rec is a known issue on some viffers. Though not experienced it myself yet (touches wood). I've had a 2008 model for the last 7 years.
