I did ‘O’ Level art at school 60 years ago and have, in that time, completed 3 graphite drawings. I have limited time but I’m enjoying trying. I’ll certainly give this a try.

Hi! How do you get your outlines of the dogs and details before you begin drawing? Do you trace the features or is it all hand drawn? I am currently working on a dog portrait but used a grid to get estimates of the outlines so it’s not the clearest and most precise.

what kind of visions do you see with the breathing work?

Just a note on GellyRoll pens/ink. First off they are not lightfast (archival). Over time the white gel ink will yellow and become brittle. Second, once you have your artwork done always store and ship flat. Do not roll your artwork, the ink will crack and flake off. This can still happen even if you use a fixative. If you use GellyRoll pens, use a UV final spray. It will help slow the yellowing and brittleness, but you should still store/ship flat. To be fair to a customer you should share this information too so they don’t mishandle the artwork.

Firstly, amazing drawing and a brilliant video! Secondly, it sounds like your describing my adhd. My adhd symptoms aren't obvious, it's literally "living within your mind", it was highlighted to me that when I am on amazon prime buying new gear to support my latest infatuation it's probably more than just day dreaming. But, living within my mind is 24/7. This was a fantastic video, very relatable

FYI-The jelly pens are not archival, you could end up with yellowed highlights all over your drawings in a year or so. You don’t want that to happen if it was a commission piece.

Ive got a drawing i did at age 11 . Cheap coloured pencils & cheap paper , its framed in my mums bedroom - like the day i drew it. I think lightfastness - archival can be a gimmick ££££ . If you dont have the pic framed & in the sun FOR YEARS ‘ I think it will be fine

Also use deeper blacks to gain depth for more realism

Never understood anyone who needs their hands to have long fingernails. Dont struggle cut your nails .
