Do not listen that's a tfi pickup you would have a no run issue if that was the case

How is that 85.. I thought 87 was the first year of the EFI in the f150

I have a 91 Ford F-150 two-wheel drive manual 5.0 to '91 they put header pops on it this is before I got it are there supposed to have 102 sensor or should there be two I've always thought V8 v6 is you need one for each bank at least

Jesus are you talking about the magnetic pick up inside the distributor or the lower camshaft gear that is attached to the distributor, coolant temperature sensor is what I think you mean yes those can be a mechanics nightmare . Thanks Jesus keep up the good work Compadre !!

I made a list of all check points and will update when resolved. Also why would my truck shut off when put in reverse after about a second unless I hit the gas?

Pcm goes bad on these too if you have wild things going on electronically try the computer . My fuel trims and electrical was all over the place

Greetings ! I have an 84 Mustang GT350 with a 5.0 EFI w/auto trans that idles VERY ROUGH and will not go over 30 MPH or shift switch gears. Any clue as to the problem? Could it be self diagnosed?

I got a 95 ford f150 I just change the water pump now the truck wonts to idle rough and the motor will stall out going down the road I will let it set an idle for a few mins shot it off it acts like it flooded it hard to start when the engine been running

My 93 f150 5.0 ran good then rough then good now just runs rough.. I start it up and it shakes and only idles about 500 while normally it idles at 900. It has no power to drive it.. I changed cap,rotor,plugs,wires, and fuel filter also found some vacuum leaks which I fixed.. and it still runs rough.. it shakes bad until I rev it up to about 3000 rpms.. I need help
