This is exceptional eagle father

This is the problem that I have with this whole dysfunctional situation, you’ll portray this as if it’s some sibling rivalry and it’s far from that. The majority of these situations end up with the youngest being viscously tortured and then killed by the oldest. i just don’t understand if you go into this knowing this, what is the point of allowing the 2nd and so on eggs to hatch after the 1st one instead of just destroying the eggs after the 1st one has hatched. I saw a video where a chic that wasn’t even 3 days old be tortured and murdered by the eldest chic. Can someone PLEASE explain to me the point of having more than one egg to hatch at a time. If the mother protected the baby, I would say fine let her have as many as she wants but she sits there and watches this happen to her babies. She gets mad if another predator tries to do harm to her chics but when her eldest is literally torturing and killing them in her face it’s ok. And I believe that you’ll are taking this “it’s nature” thing too far. Because I watched a video where I saw the mother make sure that EVERYBODY got fed and there was no bullying, I believe it can be done. As humans we can do ANYTHING but make sure that this viscous cycle doesn’t happen and I refuse to believe that. Personally, if we aren’t ensuring that EVERY chic has a chance at life, what are we doing it for? If it’s not going to happen, I say either destroy ALL eggs after the 1st one has hatched or just make them extinct and be done with it. It seems as if you’ll let the other eggs hatch after the 1st one so that they can help bring out the aggression and murderous ways of the 1st born chic.

Why do you keep saying sibling rivalry when you know dad on well your videos are about what makes you happy, which is the youngest baby being tortured and murdered by there oldest sibling. I saw a video today where the an Eaglet got snatched and eaten. I’m pretty sure it was the one who tortured and murdered its youngest sibling and I ❤ed every second of it.

Why do you feel the need to put these little sayings up as if it’s a game? The youngest shouldn’t have to be starved, beg for food, tortured by his sibling or murdered. I saw a video here the Eagle mother rationed the food out EQUALLY, so stop telling me it’s nature. The mother can be taught to protect the youngest and that murderous oldest child can be made to not torture and murder their youngest sibling.

The father comes with another fish lands right in front of E 15 the bigger one that happens all the time when the bully gets full and walks away parants seems unintrested feeding the weaker chick somtimes the right piece of meat doesnt come out and when they come off the bully wakes up and, unwillingness to fight to survive of those tortured little ones it seems like the little younger once are the cursed once they meant to suffer even their parants dont care when their elder siblings torture them they die suffering all the time.

So, what happened??

It’s a sad thing to watch! I’m always for the underdog too…always yelling at the oldest, but like it says… life for them is who is the strongest.🙁 M15 and Harriet were great parents. E15 was a female… she actually stayed around the home nest the longest that year. E16 was somewhat smaller but not in proportion as to when they first started out. They actually got quite attached to each other like they all do as they grow up. I remember her and M sitting close to each other on a branch. E15 was just going off chattering away at M15something pretty important I guess . M just sat there and listened. A couple of times she got right up in M’s face and turned up the volume! LOL it was hilarious!😂 M pulled his head back and looked at her like WTH! I believe that went on for close to 15 minutes until M said that’s enough for me and flew away! Harriet was sitting down the way in another tree … I’m sure she could hear as well! E15 had a lot going on that day… but who knows what it was all about! RIP 😊🦅❤️ GoodLuck

I was watching video from days before, then read comment E14 was bleeding. Hurried to find current video. I was so upset. Things change in an instant. He was thriving. We miss him😢 Don't think I ever saw this, poor Harriet.

If CROW came and got the eaglets body, then why didn't they come and get it once it was noticable it was injured?

This mother is going out of her way to try to feed 16. I love how 15 blocks and bonks the sh*t out of 15 to prevent 16 from eating, even fighting off the power of her food coma to get the job done! 15 is pretty adventurous in trying to get to the food, and mom meets him half way a fair amount. Still, I hope 15 ended up killing 16, and then herself was killed by a GHO or raccoon.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

After 3 years, when I think about it I still cry so much. Nothing was done to help her during the 8 hours of her ordeal because it was one. The only thing she brought was (on 2021) the eagerness that everyone had to take care of E17 and E18 very quickly when they were treated (very young) for their eye problem. For that, THANK YOU E14. And Rest In Peace.

At one point I can see blood dripping out of the wing which makes me think either baby or mum pulled on a blood feather and broke it causing this, it kills birds all the time when a blood feather is pulled or damaged.. at the rate it's coming out that's what I think most likely happened. Very very unfortunate.. the adults accidentally stepping on the baby could have done something to the wing and feathers too.. blood looks like it's dripping from near the tips where you can see at one point in the video.

Not only is 16 small, it’s incredibly stupid to boot, so it’s got two things going against it. It drops and/or misses 1/4 of the food presented to it. Even when not being attacked.

E16 got closer but didn't get a bite to eat for several minutes. (5:50, 5:53) and he is hugging onto the fish! (6:24)

Fast forward 2 years... they had a clutch of 2 this year that were adorable, they were inseparable buddies and when they fledged they went down to the lake and played and learned all their skills together. What a difference a few years make and a new clutch. It really was an amazing thing to watch them from being eggs laid to fledging! I have seen the brutality this year in other nests, some killed their siblings due to near starvation circumstances. Other pushed them out of the nest again for survival of the fittest. It's brutal to see. There are so many worse things out there for them they will go up against, that it's true the strongest must be preserved.
