Just wondering if putting the bezel in some hot water (just off the boil) would help in installing it? Thoughts any G shock fans?

Hi guys. My rubber bezel went loose after I brought the watch to replace the battery. I discovered this when I later checked the watch. Now there is a gap between the rubber bezel and the watch. Before was perfectly attached and now it's not. I think that the idiot watch repairer tried to remove the straps before opening the watch (wasn't needed) and by mistake instead removed (and later put back) the screws that secure the rubber bezel, making it loose. How can I fix this problem without buying a new replacement rubber bezel?

How to set G-Shock watch

Helpful, but a little painful how slow some parts were.

Life is probably a bit easier if you remove or tie back the strap and clamp your watch down so it doesn't float around and you can work with both hands. Take the rubber seal off the case back and clean it with a silicone cleaner and moisturiser as well as cleaning out the crevice. Then fit the seal back in to its crevise, clean the inside of the case back, check if your watch needs an AC reset before screwing the case back, back on. Wear surgical gloves so you don't leave skin oil and acids all over the mechanism.
