Very useful, thank you.
Boy was I lucky! When I was there 1968-72 it cost just £300 A YEAR for 3 full terms, including breakfast, evening meal 7 days per week. We ate together at set times in a large formal dining room with a ‘high table’, as at Oxbridge. Free room cleaning and bed sheets and towel laundering weekly. My single room in Knighton Court had an old fashioned gas fire - great for making toast. The fees were covered by a non-repayable grant paid to me by my UK hometown’s local government, in addition to all my uni course fees! It cost me not one penny. Mind you, in those days only 5% of the population went to uni. But we didn’t have very fancy common rooms and no gym. But there was an elected council, which organized social events. And I was not at all the exception as this was the norm for all students - except the more wealthy ones, as there was a parental means test. You had to pay for the bus though - about 2p. if I’m not mistaken.
what’s her instagram?
I live in Leicester umm I seen this university is near general hospital 💖💖💖 please comment back if is any open days because Iam in college and looking forward to going to university soon after my college graduation 👩🎓
Summer school 2022 I stayed in one of these rooms very depressing for me I would rather live my familia
My course starts from 11th September 2023 but I have been alloted University Accommodation from 23rd September 2023. Can I move in to the space by 9th September 2023? Now what to do. Please guide me.
Why does ur course start so early? Im starting on the 25tg
Where do I put fabric softener?
how to find pin for topup the card ?
Hello, I’m having some trouble with my accommodation’s laundry machines. I topped up in the apps but can’t find any Qr code or machine number just a sticker in its place. There’s no number bottoms on the card reader thingy either.
Wow🎉
So if I don’t have the card or loose it I can’t use that shit?🙄
My clothes not even 1/4 of the dryer and they still wet ⁉️⛔️
too much waste , over 500 plastic bags every day , plus too much junk food being sold ,good for the brain , no good for your body , we want both
My detergent capsule is always getting stuck on the outset side of the drum when it starts washing :( how to avoid this
Put it in first, in the centre of the drum before you put your clothes in
@@xavigoeswild6827One can also just use Liquid. No need to be a Detergent Pod virgin.
How do you know when your laundry has finished when using the card?
prison
Is there a drawer to put washing powder in?
Hi Sian, the Circuit Laundry machines don't have a drawer - any detergents/fabric softer will need to go into the machine with your clothes, so make sure you buy the correct type of product. We usually recommend the detergent pods that you can put in the machine :)
hi how can I get one of those cards ? where do I order it?
Hi Jake, the laundry cards can be collected from your site reception. But we would recommend using the Circuit Laundry app instead, you can top up instantly and scan the machine QR code to pay, no card required - www.circuit.co.uk/mobile-app 😁
How much do they cost
Do you know how much it costs
Great .....
Great video!
Where do students with children live ?
Hi Saba, let me know if you have any questions about Leicester or Uni of Leicester. I am graduating this month
@@moss9421 hello I have a few questions Is it compulsory to take the Headstart+ classes ?
@@sababukh7771 no it’s optional
@@moss9421 and do you recommend it?
@@moss9421 also can you recommend where to live ? As I’m not taking uni accommodation
Thank you for your explanation
What's meadow Court like
This is not in any way hate against the university of Leicester (I study at a different uni), but more of a warning for any student in the UK who's going to be using circuit laundry: *Often, even if you do load the machine correctly and don't overfill, the clothes might come out wet out of the dryer, and the website just tells you to dry it twice, basically getting more money out of you *Always, always, always check the lint collector in the dryer, most people are swines and don't clean up after themselves, and that could mess with the machine or your clothing *The app is wrong with the end time of your cycle, sometimes by as much as 20 minutes, so don't worry about being there precisely on time *As mentioned previously, people are swines. Being a few minutes late is okay, but being late by a few hours means 1. someone might just throw out your stuff out of the machine 2. you're taking up a machine someone else could be using *It's getting more and more expensive to use those machines, so wait until you have enough clothes to put in there, don't just throw 4 items in there, it's a waste of your money *If your accommodation is okay with it, just have one of those clothing racks in your room to dry your clothes, saves you money and is better for the environment *Check the website online to see if the machines are free, no point going to the laundry room just to see everything taken up *Your accommodation, like mine, could only have 3 washing machines + 3 dryers for almost 300 people, so it's better to wash clothes mid week, at some weird hours of the day/night, it's always the busiest on the weekends Thank you for coming to my Ted talk, and good luck
no one reading all that

Thanks. Much appreciated
Hi
Why the share of kitchen space? Is there any accommodation that doesn’t need to share kitchen and bathroom space ?
If you don’t wanna share get a studio room, but keep in mind it’s guaranteed to be more pricey and if your not making money like that..its gonna be really hard to keep up with rent.
Do you have a fridge/freezer in the studio?
Yes, all our studio flats mean you have a private kitchen. Which includes appliances such as a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob and kettle. You can take a look at more photos and 360 tours on our application portal: rooms.le.ac.uk/student_portal :)

I accomplished my MA at the University of Leicester. Honestly, it is one of the best universities in the world.
Why you said that? Please give more details, wanting to go there!

Nice!!! Loving the videos! You should go and take a look at Promosm!!! It is the fastest way to grow your TH-cam channel, and also works for any other social media profiles you may want to promote!
do you get to chose who you want to leave with? EXAMPLE IF I APPLY WITH A FRIENDS IS IT POSIBLE TO BE IN THE SAME FLAT ?
Hi, you can choose who you want to live with if you have friends that are also coming to the University. You can make a group application when you apply for your accommodation by applying for the same places and adding your friends name and student ID number to the notes. We hope that helps :)
@@uolreslifeThat is Nice thank you
Not staying in Leicester right now or not a student with us? You can find a rapid COVID testing site anywhere in the UK at www.gov.uk/find-covid-19-lateral-flow-test-site
Thanks for video.Which is better for Accounting and finance student between this and City living accommodation in terms of accessibility.?
Hi, all our courses take place on the main University campus or at Brookfield School of Business. The City accommodation is closer to campus, about a 10 minute walk away. Our accommodation shown here in The Village is about 2 miles from campus and accessible with our bus service that takes around 20 mins. We hope that helps :)
