    I am practising after a long time , and during the initial 1 or 2 days I am feeling a bit pain in my back and my fingers , is it normal and go away with time or a problem of grip or posture?

    I was expecting, from what he said at the start, that this coach would show us how to hold and use a hockey stick with appropriate grip and ball positioning in relation to the feet and the stick. But no. This presentation was actually worse (incorrect instruction about a static positioning of the left thumb) than half of the dozens of similar attempts to coach these points I have previously seen on TH-cam and elsewhere. I post a video I made more than seven years ago, which gives some insights into the flexibility of the 'grip' required to control a hockey stick while dribbling. th-cam.com/video/oY7trQ2VFf8/w-d-xo.html

    It seems that the size of the goal is inversely proportional to the size of the stick in different hockey varieties. I’m an ice hockey player.

    This is a great help thanks! I had a question on the second drill on 3d skills - is that just for practice, or does a move like that have a place in a match too? Thanks

    • @vitalhockey1461
      @vitalhockey1461 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      100% this is great to execute in a match - it's very hard for a defender to cleanly take the ball off your stick when it's in the air - so this is a great skill for winning penalty corners :-)
