We have filmed the C E reversing exercise in PUNJABI It was very windy on the day we filmed so we apologise for the extra wind noise in the background. One part of the HGV test requires you to demonstrate you can reverse an HGV safely and competently. It involves reversing the truck into a bay. This video will hopefully help you understand how the reversing exercise should be performed. If you ...

Dave is undoubtedly the best instructor in the game. Handsdown the best video so far on TH-cam..Very well explained straight to the point and so understandable..in other words simply impeccable. thanks Dave and 1stLINK.

Thanks, great video.
Well explained bro. Nice video 👊
Great video 😊
By far the best video I’ve seen , I have my test in one week , and this has made me feel loads more confident, absolutely spot on , cheers dave 👌👍
Thanks for this great demonstration! I followed it to the letter and I passed with flying carpets. Although, the examiner did say that there wasn’t a need for me to shout at her.😅
Lift your air on unit as you go under before you connect with kingpin that ensures you wont miss it or damage legs.
A clear, concise, and informative explanation. Well done !
Brilliant video
Well detailed
Thank you
👍
Excellent video , excellent instructor 👏
OMG, this guy is lightyears in front of the RSM Chelmsford, where I began my license (I have finished with another school). No mumbling, no coffee in hands, no phone in hands. This is how I imagined a trainer at that time.
Why not teach people how to do a Light Test...? Most modern trucks have a light test function that cycles all the lights. Unless I'm going out solo, I do the vehicle walk round once coupled up, checking unit and trailer at same time.
How are you checking lights are fit for purpose without the suzies on?
Brilliant this, really really well explained thank you. Liked and subscribed
Is there any chance you could turn captions onto this video? I'm partially deaf and can't really understand what's being said
Brilliant video
Hey, I enjoyed it as much as you did but I haven't heard once. You mentioned about suspension😢😢😢which was a very vey important step for the training part. BLACKS, break, Legs, Air, Clip, Kingpin and ; and Suspension. God bless you.
You are actually meant to take off the emergency brake first
Respect to you this video well explained and demonstrated. Keep up the great work👊🏾
Ha ta jwak vi krlu l bna ke reverse krna dso
Very informative and interesting to learn. Wow best instructor ❤
Great video
Awesome teaching u r great ❤️
Good explanations TY
When you unhook the fifth wheel and are pulling out drop your bloody airbags down! What sort of professional driver would let that trailer hit the fifth wheel like that! That is not professional at all!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video wish you were my trainer mate as everything is very clear
You're a great teacher.
textbook perfect, then the newly licensed student kills someone, I remember my truck driving instructor said "I'm not teaching you to pass a test, I'm teaching you not to kill someone" - those words have stuck with me since then and this isn't against this vid. It's against the "Text book Testing" that as long as you can run your hands over a tire, wave at lights, couple/uncouple... if you're not taught how to actually drive such a unit you'll kill someone.
I want to take trailer track driving training and get a CDL license! could you help me please?
Great vid but i didnt see any explanation about dropping tractor unit suspension when you move off from the trailor or raising it just before you go in. Im assuming thats what the red tape is for on the mud guard...the point at which is best to raise and drop the suspension on the unit or is it just me.
I dont think they teach that for passing the test.
bro I like the video a lot and even today I learned a lot from it. You should do more videos like this. I have a question. Bro forgot to say something. Before making the trailer connection, check that there is proper grease. Yes or NO
Excellent Presentation
If you were my teacher. Wouldn't be able to miss your lesson. You on point. And you make it enjoyable. You make it look easy . And make it look like it can be done
Why is he shouting
Cuz the lorry is loud
Good stuff. I passed my class 1 back in 2009 and I've mostly been driving vans since then with the occasional 7.5t and 18t run. I've applied for an artic job within my company which means passing an internal assessment before they'll let loose on my own. My company (Royal Mail) runs single and double-deck trailers so I'll have to remember to take note of the ride height of the trailer and adjust the height indicator in the cab to match. Thanks for the video!
Watching from Nairobi Kenya, can't be explained better than this. Thank you
This man is really amazing , he brings very importent things with very easy way. I ll give him 10 out of 10 numbers to him🎉 Respects from Dubai
