It's such a pain when you come across a cool/off brand mic and you cant wait to get it hooked up and have NO idea what the wiring code is. You could guess all day and still make no progress! Lol. I;ve been there. 5wire plugs can be a pain as well. You really simplified this too.. for even beginners can follow you. I want to get one of those mic testers too. Wow! I had the same metal stuck in my exhaust valve. Had no idea where it came from, It did however bend the valve. Replaced both valves and she runs. THANK YOU for this video, without it I would have never found where that metal came from.

Still have my all original, JIS screws and all (yep… me again), Candy Gold 4/70 K0. Guess I’m one of the few that never sold the one I got as a kid !!!
