But do we have to say in the portfolio that this is a fake project? I have real projects but they’re not many and I want to put fake as well
Complicated. Did you try to pack all the banner somehow? Better make it with pure HTML and save the <body> in the SIgnatures folder of Mail. You have lots of http requests with the image links.
You have said it alright to make portfolios even not on our own but what about those question in interview, I don't even how can I seriously answer that with enjoyment.. can you please encourage me how to conquer this interview? Pls :D

Helped me a lot to understand about Canva
Thank you you gave me great ideas from your vid. I was worried since i dont have a collefe degree. Thank you so much.
I have a few pet peeves about Canva that I KNOW i can do in InDesign so I think i am ready to make the jump. (see below) One of them is accurately setting line spacing by typing in the exact number in inches you need. But in Canva, you have to drag and drop the line until you see the size of the line pop up off to the side(ie .5 inches) but I would rather be able to highlight a bunch of duplicated lines, then set the spacing with EXACTLY the size I want for that size planner page so I am not having to constantly drag the lines out until they are all spaced out correctly. Also, being able to reside planner inserts so much easier and faster so I can offer multiples sizes. Also, layers...would LOVE to not keep accidentally grabbing another element when I move my curser! All the time I am "control Z" when i simply move my mouse! Not sure why Canva just didn't create this feature and now Adobe is over here creating Adobe Express to look just like Canva that has that feature. AND i would love to set the colors and lines already so when I click to add it's already the color pallete I need. I just need to be faster to really crank these out.

A junior designer here! I kind of disagree with the second point, but that's my opinion. I think that the more jobs you try, the better knowledge of what is actually "your thing" is. If you try the other way around and build an anesthetic and then apply to jobs you kind of shrink your opportunities to grow. But that's my opinion. I see it like that because especially for me if feels kinda limiting to aply to only a few options of the bunch. Idk what is my aesthetic yet, and I wanna try everything. I'm hungry for diversity. But I guess that is up to the person. Other people might be very oriented early on but that's not my case.
Hey Maraiah! How did you get rid of the vertical line spacing between the image slices in the signature? I have my design and slices all good to go out of Illustrator but Gmail seems to be adding vertical line spacing I cannot get rid of!

thank you for the video. My question though is, if you have to deploy the email signature for an entire company of a department using Gmail. do you have to repeat the steps over and over again or is there a swifter way for doing so ???

Thank you do much, this will be useful for a job I'm applying to tomorrow that pays $400 monthly. Yes it's low, but I live in Lebanon so sadly salary wage is very very very low... most retail workers get paid just about $100 and I'm not even kidding sadly. I want to get a job as a graphic designer (I know that doesn't tell you much) and I am kind of a generalist, I haven't found my specialty/niche yet. I have never worked a real job as a graphic designer and I still don't know which area I want to focus on, my portfolio right now has many different areas from logos, branding, illustrations, image edits, ad campaigns. Any tips how I can find a job without experience and without having a niche?
