Sadly, my husband who was the one making these videos, passed away April 12, 2024 in a terrible accident. The videos will remain available as they are helpful. No new videos will be made, nor will the comments be able to be answered as I am not the car person. Thank you.
G35/350z Wheel bearing+Hub replacement (rear)
Example of bearing noise shown followed by a laid back rear bearing+hub assembly swap.
It's recommended to replace bearings in pairs. This video shows a hub+bearing assembly which costs more, but saves effort. Individual wheel bearings without hub are available from various vendors, however these require the use a 20 ton press. This video does not follow the factory service manual exactly. This is for a 2003 model with Brembo Calipers. Other years and other trims may have different fastener sizes and torque specs.

Thanks dude!!
why cant i find a single video showing how to replace the rear coil spring too? mine just snapped and im wondering how to do it.
great video on a proper fix. I got tired of seeing those people use aftermarket actuators. thanks for the tips.
Why did you take out the seats and console? The bell housing bolts should be accessible once the transmission bracket is removed and you tilt the drivetrain back. The shifter can be unhooked from the side if the transmission. Am i missing something? I removed trans from an 02 xterra without removing seats or console.
Do that will work with the remote control from the auto Parts?
How in 2020 could someone not know that. They have ran Toyotas with LH in Africa for 50 years 😂
LOVE that you were able to record all the steps and not just cutting to after its complete. Excellent video!
U got those shocks upside down
Hay Fixies My Transmisión ,But I Can Got Far Because a For Change For Time Only Want To a Three Not For You You que You Help. Me What Problem.
What do I do after I get to the clockspring? The video stops at that point.
Why do you want to disconnect it? Why don’t disengage the difflockers? I know not the same thing but why you need a free spinning wheel whit a spinning drivetrain? I would like a answer because obviously it has some advantages because many use them
All that work an still leaks
I have a 2021 Camry and it does not have heated mirrors. I want to modify it after the factory. My question is: Is it possible to search for the wire going to the rear window that works on the rear defroster switch and take two wires out of it. Each wire goes to a mirror. And connect the ground to the body of the car, so in this case the mirrors work with my rear window. Does this affect the electrical system, knowing that the car is a 2021?
Begs the question "Why do you free the tire from the axel?" What does this have to do with putting your vehicle in or out of 4x4?
This hub lockers is it the same as differential lock or not?
Part number?
BEST video yet on this repair!
Is a 03 Pathfinder done the same way. I couldn't find a video for an 03
Did the relay swap ans it worked thank you.
Both driver & passenger side are identical in shape but not size. Passenger side is larger. What a relief. Thought I had the wrong parts.😂😂 Awesome video
Awesome job
Wait, so locking hubs are only used to save fuel? I always thought that locking hubs were some alternative to diff-locks and gave you better traction or something.
I would just upgrade to an all aluminum radiator and keep it flushed every 2 years amd you shouldn't ever have a SMOD issue.
What about the transmission wouldn’t it overheat ?
But why?
Yall should check out the channel description. Sadly this guy has passed but his wife is keeping the channel up thankfully. Bless her and may Her husband continue to be at peace
Now that it doesn't have the radiator to cool the trans the trans will run a little hotter because it doesn't have the radiator cooling it down anymore and the only thing cooling it down now is the trans cooler that is only cooled down by air. Before it was cooled down by air and radiator but now if you do this it'll be cooled down only by the trans cooler. I think it'll still be OK as long as you're not towing alot or trailing alot. My 2009 has everything still factory and I've never had problems. As long as you keep up with the radiator fluid and change it you shouldn't have to worry about rusting the internal tank in the radiator that the trans lines go into. Change that radiator fluid every 65k to 100k and you shouldn't have a problem with the factory setup. Mine has 129,000 and I'm still running factory setup and no problems.
The radiator doesn't cool the transmission fluid. Its designed to heat it up quickly to bring it to the operating temperature of the transmission. If you're in colder climate area then it would be best not to bypass.
So is a locking up like a locking diff for but for the front?
Did not work on my 07 any other ideas thanks
Thank you - explanation crystal clear👍
Thx for the video
Anybody know where to find those upper brackets for the rear shocks?
Thank you for this video. My G35 is making the exact same sound but I couldn’t describe it. Your “All-Terrain Tire” reference was perfect. Much appreciate the step by step process and the torque specs. I’ll be taking this on this weekend. Great video. Great video.
How did it go ? Was the noise gone after
Thanks a lot for the video bro
Nice job without playing any loud music.💯
You should of had a castle nut on both the outer tie rod and upper ball joint to put the cotter pins through. I would get in there ASAP and change both those nuts. Also, there should be a spindle nut retainer over the spindle nut that the cotter pin goes through. That is another thing that should be added quickly. Better safe (nothing works it way free) than sorry.
I already can tell...you're putting up this from one of those Infiniti QX4...!! Right...?? Good job😃👌thanks buddy 👍
There is no better way to do this. Your video is perfect. 10 plus
Perfect. Exactly what I needed and in clear terms with a perfect demonstration. Non-Sequitur: Can you recommend a truck tire that will be good for improving MPG/fuel efficiency but is decent in snow?
Pick one. Anything good in snow is going to be knoby. Knoby = wind resistance/noise = poor mpg.
Do I absolutely need to remove cv axel from the vehicle? Like can simply unbolt it then push it out of way?
I’ve seen other videos where they don’t remove the CV axle.
What about a key with chip in it?
Bro you can’t be that slow? What do you think he’s programming in the video. “The chip on the key” you think he’s programming plastic ?
@@Bando-fx4mfhes programming the remote which is separate from the key. I already have 2 remotes but i want a 2nd key. Security is built into the key 🗝️ as well right .
Great video and camera work.
What is the benefit of this? Is it so you can have the rears in 4L or 4H without the front engaging? When will this be beneficial? Thanks...
Hanging off a dune or rocks where you just need rear power to level out without the front digging is my guess don’t take it as fact tho
it's to save fuel when goin on regular roads where 4wd is not required.
What vehicle is this?
Rest easy Bud and thank you for the great videos you made.
if both are locked, is central differential works equal for right and left tyres? especially when turning?
Thanks for this tutorial. I found the space was so tight that I had to also remove the nut off negative terminal as well. I could not remove the old one or install the new one without doing this and I literally spent an hour trying to twist it into place. Once I removed that nut it slipped right in.
I don’t get it. I get a clicking sound I read a form that means it’s locked I turn it the other way and don’t get a sound but in your video unlocking them gives you that click
I have a 2008 Frontier 4 cylinder, automatic with 131K miles on it. Do I need to do this or is it just for the 6 cylinder version?
That's a great question that unfortunately I don't know the answer. Couldn't find any answers online for that question either. It does appear that the QR25DE engines used a different radiator part number than the VQ40DE engines but that's all I got unfortunately
@@dospathsgarage2854 I found no definite answer online either. I will check my radiator numbers today. Thank you!
Thank you! so much better description than how Cengage was explaining it!
Awesome tutorial!! 💯
