Yes indeed! Marigolds are great for repelling aphids and mosquitos. They are a lot more effective than a sphynx cat.

The rising time is determined by your temperature and humidity, but is it possible to over proof the dough if you aren't checking it frequently?

Can you use gluten free all purpose flour in this?
It would probably change the texture quite a bit, but it never hurts to experiment!
This is NOT Cuban bread... You need to have a palm frond in the top of the loaf instead of slicing it with a knife you put the palm frond on it before you proof it. Not only does it flavor the bread but it creates a score on the top. Also you don't put mojo marinade on a Cuban sandwich, you put mustard and mayonnaise. Swiss cheese, roast pork, dill pickles, SALCHICHON(very important), ham, and optionally lettuce and tomato. I will say that you did well with the press but that bread looks more like Italian bread.
This is our first time trying cuban bread with a google search for the recipe. But I love the detailed suggestions, sounds amazing! Thanks for watching.

This looks so amazing. You guys did a really good job keeping the secret of flavor for the first 8 seconds of the video. You said you should use less dry herbs than fresh, why is that?
Thanks for the comment, Peter! Dry herbs tend to have a more powerful flavor, so it is best to start with a lot less and increase little by little until you get your desired results.
