Plus it's not really the highnotes itself but how you sounded and HOW YOU USED THEM TO MAKE A MORE APPEALING and MORE EFFECTIVE VOCAL PERFORMANCE. it's something that most wannabe belters and singers failed to achieve. And for those talking shit about Regines technique pls. It's better for you to shutup. Some musicians and vocal teachers here and abroad have been recommending Regines video as a study material for breathing lesson and proper singing. And what's with sohyang and western singers references? Filipinos have a very good ears for music. Singing live is one of the most favorite hobbies in the country. We might not be too technical but don't insult us with your inaccurate judgement. And watching singing contest here and there We KNOW WHO CAN SING and rock AND WHO CANNOT! If you don't like our singers just say you don't like him/her so we can have world peace hahahahha

B5- regine sang a clearer and more powerful and more focus b5. JV even without comparison sounds weak. there's noticeable break. Bb5- all of The clips used for both rv and Jv were not impressive. Though REGINE was a little bit powerful than jona. Of course it's a different story if u included the Bb5s from RV's provincial concerts. Hehe A5- there is no doubt that REGINE nailed a well projected A5 note in dreamgirls. More powerful; fiercer G#5- REGINE has more powerful and more controlled vibrato. But Jona did well on this note. C5-G5- even without watching this video I know that jona can hit and sustain these notes like REGINE but in terms of power/ intensity, flexibility, dynamics, vocal freedom and color there's no way she can beat the songbird. It's like her playground. Well, I can see the excitement and reason for comparison. I'll choose jona over some popular young divas we have now. But REGINE is REGINE. She doesn't just hit high notes. She's always on top of it that's why she seems effortless and the possibility of mistake is way way way less than other belters hahaha
