Suspense (1913) de Lois Weber y Phillips Smalley (Cortometraje subtitulado)
NOTA: Apenas diez minutos. Ese fue el tiempo que el binomio formado por la directora Lois Weber y su esposo, el también realizador, Phillips Smalley, necesitó para firmar una de las joyas de la historia del cine: «Suspense» (íd., 1913). A pesar de que ya ha alcanzado la centena de años, este cortometraje sigue destilando modernidad. Weber -cuyos méritos deberían haberle servido para ocupar un lugar más destacado en el Olimpo del celuloide- se convirtió en 1914 en la primera mujer norteamericana en dirigir un largometraje: «El mercader de Venecia» (The merchant of Venice, 1914). «Suspense» es una pequeña muestra de todo su talento, que se pone de manifiesto en un creativo manejo de la cámara y en la investigación de la técnica narrativa.

The Monk did more damage to the game than Danny did even when he was trying to throw the game, he obviously did this and also got a goal chopped off by destroying one of the guards off the ball

I really loved this series, the writing and acting were TOP NOTCH. Michael Chiklis REALLY SHINES as Vic Mackey, to say nothing of the EXCELLENT work done by the rest of the Strike Team and cast, in general. Chiklis mentions in one of the extras how they all knew they were blessed to work with such a great crew just from the sheer synchronicity of talent aligning on this project, and indeed, we were all blessed by their hard work. Great work, all! Thanks for the memories!

prefiero esto que los pitufos en el agua. la zombie tenía buenas pechugas. llevo 1 hora... que aburrida. habían mejor acción y efectos en películas más viejas. porque máquina de traducción... si de todas formas, hablan inglés? porque el gordo zombi es psicópata? porque el líder alien usaba ropa mediaval, con un escudo y hacha bordado? porque se ven humanos? nadie les creerá que son alien. el alien y su clase magistral sobre el sol... wtf porque la alien usa peinado clásico de los años 40s? la tecnología alien parece del futuro: años 50s. La nave es redonda. pero si embargo, vemos que exteriormente es un cubo. no entiendo el final, nada de esto impide que ellos destruyan la tierra. "DIOS NOS AYUDE EN EL FUTURO" puede usarse de meme
